If you would know anything about the prodigy then you would know that Liam cares about nothing else than his fans. So to connect with the fans he needs live performances. Keith and Maxim are the entertainers on stage and, like you say, they might not add to the music, but they surely add to the performance and the experience of seeing them performing live on stage. It's the total of those 3 that actualy makes the prodigy as good as they are. Not just Liam.

I love Brixton Academy, it's my favourite UK indoor venue. I wish I could have seen Prodigy there. I saw them at Download but it's just not the same. They are one of the best live acts ever though.
