I lived through the 80's, and La Roux don't do anything I haven't heard before. Let's face it, she's known more for her image than her music.

I would describe her as amazing.

And the majority of people that listen to her music were too young in the 80s to recollect much, so I don't see how your age fits in here anywhere. Also, I completely disagree. If you don't like her music, that's your problem, but not everyone thinks of her as "a singing haircut". I'm extremely sorry if you don't appreciate her music, but millions upon millions do.

Pure genius. I only saw this video once when it was shown on the Tube in 1984 but I have never forgotten the song, which shows how good it is.
