  • hi i am very confused can u tell me how to animate a make human model in 3ds max because it does not work i have biped too but these all objects such as hand and etc are not connected together what should i do?

  • please answer me. I created the human in makehuman and imported in 3ds max. I rotate her hand and it's like her hand is broken. It's horrible. How can I stick the body and arm together. It's too creepy.

  • @staboymalibu94 what do u mean by rotate, did you have a biped setup already?

  • @nickdavijhon yes I did and the parts of the skin don't stick together. If I wanna move her arm some parts from the arm are goin in the different direction

  • This is probably going to sound noobish, but I have the new version of MakeHuman and it won't let me export a mesh, how do I export it as a .obj? It has the option to do so, it just won't export when I click "save".

  • @WeegeePerson it does. in the 'my documents' folder -> makehuman -> exports. Or something like that. It just doesn't allow you to choose where you'd like to export it.

  • Im a beginner, I cannot export files from Makehuman, all clicks just don't respond, any download link please for Vista and tips what to do?

  • all you have to do is click on object, then name the file and hit enter. to import the file into max, just import it as object

  • Wow, sounds eazy..... and the saved file will go in the export Makehuman folder? If I got it right: click on the model, type a name in the black box and thats it??

  • Nickdavijhon friend, it worked!!! due to YOU after I tried it 2 days on and on... NOW... how can I make the model look close as possible to a real human in 3d max please? Also, question: any google jpeg or any camera pic representing myself can be imported and modeled and animated in 3d max?

  • when you import character it look very lowres, select the character and go to the tab modifier go down the list until you find meshSmooth. this will make the character look really smooth without adding to much polygon.

  • Thank you again, Nick.

  • she needs a bra :P
