  • This video is a favorite on Ashgabat

  • What does vintage reissue mean? It is either a reissue or vintage right? This amp is vintage.

  • Vintage all the way.

  • Is the amp vintage reissue or original?

  • is a deluxe reverb loud enough to play with a band in medium to large bars? your tone is amazing btw. i hate that you had to sell that R9

  • I take all my guitars to Vic...him and his crew are absolute masters at what they do...nice playing man!

  • Vic's hair is sweet. It looks like a helmet. A Hair Helmet.

  • Vic is the man.

  • Yes he is!!!

  • i just wet myself

  • IMO, Gibson's sound best with a cranked vintage fender amp. just saying.

  • You have some great gear, no doubt. To bad tone is mostly in the fingers.

  • Hey Thanks!!!

  • wut r u using for overdrive

  • Volume......

  • I love the sound! What setting do you have the amp on?

  • I don't know..usually its something like this...Volume 6, Treble 7, Bass 4, Reverb 2.5. Thanks very much!!

  • I love your sound - I just picked up a

I love your sound. I just picked up a deluxe reverb. What setting do you use on the amp to get that sound?

  • You must be going deaf playing amps that volume.

  • very impressive tone, amazing

  • Nice tone. Very nice playing.

  • is this directly in the amp? or is the sound filtered with a pedal?

  • man i love your tone, your vibratos and bends.. very peter green, and sometimes a little danny kirwan cuz danny had a slightly thicker tone.. but you also have your own sound in there

  • People say Deluxe Reverbs get distortion when cranked. But your is cranked and you have humbuckers. Still sounds like slightly dirty clean tone to me.

British amps are needed for great distortion.

  • It's a matter of degree. 6V6 and 6L6 get a sweet/nasty type distortion...and don't compress like EL84 or EL34...also, Fender didn't wan't distortion in their amps. The result is more of what I'd call overdrive...than distortion.

  • aw i want the green light on my deluxe

  • Hmm... Great sound, but honestly - I've expected more from this expensive guitar. Maybe it's just a audio quality, but it sounds not better than my stock short tenon LP standard. I was seriously considering of ordering historic one, but they do no sell it here so it would be a blind date. Now I'm in doubt - thanks for posting

  • hey Dan i have question, whats the volume one? plz reply:)

  • I think its on 6 or 7

  • I hope you're wearing earplugs when you do these videos! LOL!! Sounds great! I look forward to more vids from you in the future.

  • were did ur marshall go !!!!!!!!

  • My Marshall was at my rehearsal space until last Sat. when I brought it back to my apt. I still have it, and will be making a new vid. shortly!!

  • From Vic Da Pra! HA! CONGRATS BUDDY!!!

  • Yeah ,skydog u're a legend o youtube ...

I love your style of playin' . You hve something from Page sometimes (Immingrant song) ... I seen your's all vids , and i think thet's the one of the best.

I wish to see to see more kicking ass vids ...

    Cheers ...

  • I'd agree to that. DD you got the head bobs going....dont knock your cranium into that sweet 59. LOL

  • Holy Crap!!!

That's your best vid by far!

I loved the tone and the licks bro!

  • damn. that sounds flippin' sweet.

good stuff. love the tone through that Fender.

I have a Peavey Delta Blues 210 that I love, but I was thinking of getting a classic Fender to go along with it.

    Peace. Love the vids.

  • Thank you sir!

  • Great, Lot of BB King Stuff, great

  • Sounds great!! Love the Riffs at 4.22..this vid is some of your best playing I think.

Licks, you got them and thats the TRUTH!!!

  • Thanks very much Stow!!!

  • yo man this is the best one yet. what are those riffs from 4:05 to 4:46?????

  • It's from a song by Otish Rush called Homework. Peter Green and Danny Kirwan of early Fleetwood Mac did this tune live regularly in 69 and 70. Great song.

  • Awsome, I definitely have to check that out

  • i have a les paul supream and i like the sound what do you think about the supreams?

  • I like Diana Ross!

  • Nice. I wish I could play like you. That's a honey burst isn't it? I have the same, but then an Epiphone. Hey man, do you have tabs for the lick you play at 5:55? Keep it up, I always enjoy watching your stuff. Gotta love those Les Pauls.

  • No, this is a very cherry, washed cherry. Nice deep red color and flame that I assoc. with the old ones.

  • Great tone....

  • is you dont love me your favorite song of all time? lol. good shit man i've listened to a lot of ur stuff. u ever try playin with a slide? i started tryin to learn a couple months ago, its fun. u ever play in a band too?

  • No problem my friend. Thank you for your compliments!!

  • Damn! That is some tone right there. Well done. What did you notice pre/post sprague caps?

  • I think the reissue bumbles sound to hifi...they have good brightness with no body. The spragues give it that kind grainy, woody body, plus great high end too. Thank you!!

  • Uh...I work for a livng. Seriously though, this is not a question I feel compelled to answer, but I sold off a lot of my gear to get the new R9. Let's leave it at that. Things aren't always what they seem.
