hang on--if Aqua Magna is there in the symbol (that's where Mata Nui lives) how is the Mask of Life flying towards the symbol? it was ejected into space from Aqua Magna.

Technically, Mata Nui wasn't a robot, but technically he was--it's like this. his 40,000,000 foot tall body on Aqua Magna was a robot--Mata Nui is a spirit, and he was possessing the robot. I don't think it can function without a spirit inside it, though. however, Mata Nui himself is not a robot.

As for why he has feelings, remember, he's wearing the Mask of Life, and it has feelings, so maybe he has too. Besides, Mata Nui is an ANDROID, not a robot. He is artificial, but he does have feelings anyway because his robotic brain is programmed to be like a Great Being's brain, and they have feelings.

The holes are filled in because they came out with new arm pieces that the holes and stuff are on the side. And I not really a Mata Nui fan because one, They used small leg connector pieces. and two, we're going to have a skrall problem because he has big arm armour. They are the main living beings of their universe, rahi being the animals. They gave the figures gears so they could actually move in a way. The only robots in their universe are the vakhi, which were made by the matoran. (xD, yes I know alot about this stuff)

I'm am going to be so pissed if they screw up this movie. The Mask of Light is a childhood favorite, and still one of my favorite movies of all time. I've wanted nothing more than conclusion since then. Bad enough they went overboard with the storyline and pushed it into a whole 'nother world, but they don't even have the courtesy to make a movie based on the phantoka, but the uninteresting Glatorian universe?

i know and where the heck is the original? they just skip like 3 chapters and start at the end of my favorite part of this whole series. (the original mata nui story line) i liked the series up untill after the ignika (it went downhill 4 me after that but the mahri were pretty cool), they stoped making the masks right (the masks were my favorite part of the bionicles) and made the bad guys just have special "faces" that only fit on them..

because when the toa mahri turned him back to life they only turned his body back to life while the kanohi ignika turned itself into a living bieng with matoros body (after he sacrificed himself so technically mata nui is matoro) and then teridax took over mata nui's body and sent the kanohi ignika into space where it landed in mara magna and made itself a new body just as it did in the mistika story
