Just about every time I go hiking I push myself and feel like im going to die. Ive been going every week now so im in somewhat better shape. I used a exercise bike everyday except a day before I go hiking. That will get you in good shape.
Seriously? Where are you from dude? I go there every summer & climb the highest parts of Yosemite on day hikes & I've had a broken back & liver damage from an accident, and I can do it? You need to be prepared, & in shape!, don't hike past your limit, it isnt cool to put yourself in danger, its not what its about, enjoy the scenery & work up to it.
Hard to see the views. You're moving the camera way too fast. But it is a beautiful high country view.
