  • @norxcontacts What the fuck do you eat that makes you so high and mighty? probably nasty fast food and pizza. Why would you talk about slop when you are slop, Imperialistic excrement of the world. I hope you drown in a pool of corn syrup and msg.

  • @norxcontacts Beans, not slop.

  • that's good

  • That feels bad. The price of wheat has gone up so fast since the Russian fire.

  • Anthony Bourdain must have a heck of a good immune system. If I ate like that there, I probably wouldn't even be alive.

  • ANTHONY! I tried eating like you in Cairo and ended up shitting my guts out on the way home! Not cool! lol

  • Cairo sucks.. they are stuck in time and also not a good future.. thanks to Islam who is growing and putting they stupid rules.. even Belly dancers are not welcome anymore.. Egypt deserve to be a modern city and a better place to live

  • @nettozu then I'm very happy that I'll never see your ugly face here.

  • @nettozu Egypt my friend is a country. Go take a lesson in Geography ;-)

  • I have been to Egypt....and I can see his point....nevertheless I`ve developed this love-hate relationship with Egypt.

Now...I miss it. Then I hate it. It is one of the most unusual places I have been to. Some of the nicest people I`ve ever met...and some of the biggest Aholes...I`ve ever met...are in Egypt.

  • @SadieMirsade Lol you're weird ;D

  • hey homeboy go see yemen it's nice out there

  • I pity the fool.

  • ...that eats too much fool.

  • @endgammer

    so funny.

  • ya its awsome, but the sudanese vesion is the best.

  • Fool is absolutely awesome! But I'm disappointed though because I thought during his Egypt adventure he'd go for the Egyptian version of the wildy loved Arab fast-food, the shawarma. It's absolutely fantastic. The best version in the Middle East, hands down.

  • the best shawarma is in syria and lebannon

  • Fool means beans in arabic.

  • @TiffBeast Really? I thought the P is a B.

  • Soo true!

  • Comment removed

  • Eh, they can throw in Bizarre foods for an hour. But definitely Bourdain 23 hours a day

  • I would take a bit of Andrew Z in there for an hour or two to break it up a bit, but I like where youre going with this idea. Maybe just create a Tony Bourdain channel all for himself. Oh it has to be in HD though.

  • Amen.

  • i only watch bourdain, zermmern, man vs food and ghost adventures lol

  • I only watch no reservations, bizarre foods, man vs food, man vs wild, espn

  • Perfect line up in my opinion.

  • @nixli1980 Bourdain has always come off as arrogant......He is a bore...Yawn.

  • Im ready to get drunk oh wait i dont have any cans.

  • ful madames. i had it in egypt but didnt like it. its a bit like egypts answer to baked beans

  • I'm ready to pack my bags and travel like he does. OH WAIT! I don't have any money! :(

  • lol!

  • Yup! lol

  • @dahwang12 u can travel a year round the world with 5k euros

  • oh my god... I want to go back to Egypt like RIGHT NOW. This stuff is so delicious. I'm surprised he didn't get an Egyptian Shawarma while there. Every Middle Eastern country has a take on that wonderful wrap... and in my opinion, Egypt makes them the absolute BEST.

  • My apologies everyone. I posted the previous comment on the wrong page.

  • There is a place in Spanish Harlem where they serve tacos the way they do in this video. It is one of my favorite places to eat. For you New Yorkers, it is on 116th and 2nd.

  • Anthony, I'm telling you, subscribe to The Rundown, if you want to know where to eat in LA.

  • sounds goood haahaha

  • What a fascinating show segment. That sounds like something I would enjoy eating. :)

  • If you are what you eat, then you're a fool for eating this!!!!

  • piti bread. we eat alot of that in my family

  • yum...now i want some fool medames! Egypt is so amazing and so is the food!

  • I'm just so jevelous for Anthony Bourdain. :D

  • there so many good foods in this world i just hope i get a chance to taste most of them

  • delicious,

  • Once you've been to Cairo and eaten ful medames and koshari, you will dream about them until you come back. It's poor man's food-simple and delicious.

  • Anthony is so awesome!! Keep it up.

If you don't run out of countries lol

  • Reminds me of a street snack in Delhi, India called "chhole kulche", where boiled peas and garbanzo beans are mixed with salt, chilli powder, spices, lime, diced onions, tomatoes, green chillies, and cilantro and served cold with a warm fluffy white flat bread. I am really hankering for that right about now after seeing this.

  • omg your talking about doubles we have them in Trini

  • I must admit "chhole kulche" sounds mighty tasty (aside from the cilantro, just a personal prefrence!) I can't wait until Toronto allows multicultural vendors to serve on the streets, as the food is the main reason I travel south to Toronto.

  • This guy is the coolest, i always watch this show, there is some dude trying to imitate him on the food network, i think is alton brown, food network be original PLEASE you might have all the money in the world but there is only one Anthony Bourdain

Tony, my respects to you and your crew

    keep up the good work.

  • Alton Brown has his own personality traits and information that he brings to his shows. I think he's a different flavor and a different approach. But I agree with you, Bourdain is the coolest.

  • i love this channel and this is my favorite show

    Tony keeps it real.

He knows his job is too good to be true but he doesn't act like all the fake tv show hosts with their own travel shows. He's real. If it's nasty, he isnt scared to say it.

Thats what makes this show great

  • this guy has the best job in the world

  • Foul may be a simple dish of fava beans with pickles on the side but unfortunately even it is becoming too expensive for the poor. It's yummy stuff by the way. Just because a food is simple doesn't mean it can't taste delicious and be very healthy.

  • I love this show! Thank you!

  • Best show on TV.

  • Look at King of the Hill's "Lady and Gentrification" episode, he's just like the asshole hipsters in that episode.

  • He may be an asshole, but I don't think he is an elitst. He spent his whole career working in a hot ass kitchen doing dirty work. He's not even really rich. When he talks about not wanting to be a tourist, he is just saying to get out of your comfortzone, meet the real people that live their, and don't be afraid to eat something you may not be familiar with. When places have large amounts of tourist they do so much to please them the experience is no longer authentic. U have valid points.

  • Yes, you do have some valid points. But what I mean by elitist isn't the typical way the word is used in terms of financial or even occupational snobbery. What I mean is the mentality that he is more enlightened that others, this is better demonstrated in the Mexico episode where he emphasizes how hard it is to not look down on Texans and is even shocked that they made a light joke about NYers, as if his expectation of ignorant rednecks was somehow more justified.

  • true

  • I don't believe there was any honest effort to have a "real" experience, even Egyptians would be thrilled and proud to see the pyramids or be on the Nile, not once did he really mingle (other than smoke), and most importantly the whole time he seemed to be thinking, "I have better things to do" like he was bored and just wanted to go home. I give him credit for the rural visits but it was not "typical" as most people live in the cities. He gave more respect to Japan and Mexico for comparison.

  • Watch Zimmern's "Bizzarre Foods" for comparison, even with such a title, him and his show give much more respect to the culture, food, and history of EVERY place, make sure they either visit homes or depend on locals for finding the good local spots, and ALWAYS try any dish at least twice and never come with negative assumptions to anyone, even the deep American south.

  • da bomb

  • he has the best job in the world

  • just saw the episode a couple of hours ago, excellent episode.

The food is Egypt looked particularly delicious.

  • Your sarcastic personality is what makes this show interesting for me. I enjoy every minute of all the episodes I've seen.

  • looks delicious.....Tony, your soo lucky!

  • Tony is hot.

  • Tony, you're always a class act, with some cuisine and some proverbial food for thought, as ever.

  • Egyptian Breakfast... nice.

  • Reminds me of Roberto's taco shop for some reason..

  • tight
