@cinefiles After seeing other videos of yours, I'd like to apologize for my comment, I may not agree with some of your judgments but the subjects and discussions are kind of entertaining... Opinions are like buttholes, we all have one.
Can't believe I never commented on this one. As for one I kinda wish was mentioned but I knew wouldn't be is The Willies, fucking loved it as a kid, it is kinda an Anthology Horror movie for kids but the wrap-around segment is fun and the stories are great and a couple are really mean spirited with I always like.
While definatley not along the same lines, Karim Hussain's Subconscious Cruelty is a wonderfully twisted, surreal, perverse and unsettling anthology film.
Asylum is a great film. But I think "Dr. Terror's House of Horrors" is the crown jewel in the Amicus castle. The creeping hand story with Christopher Lee is outstanding and the vampire story with a young Donald Sutherland was very well done.
What was that 70's Anthology with Jessica Walter?? She cursed some teen boys who killed her son or something?? "One by air... Two by sea...." She starred in Play Misty For Me with Clint Eastwood. Can't find this anthology in her IMDB.... In another episode on the anthology there was a girl's ghost on a bridge; and on another there was a mysterious hole in the woods somewhere where, when men were lowered into the hole there was a tremendous howl and them men came up having lost their minds!!
If you think about it, Creepshow has six stories, if you include the little boys story with the voodoo doll. Another thing about Creepshow is that is has the same concept of the undead returning to take revenge in two stories.
Hi, guys - this is the first of your work that I have seen, and I'll be sure to check out your other offerings. I quickly wrote down several films you mentioned, and am already a fan of several others you talk about here. Can't wait to track down a copy of "Black Sabbath." Keep up the good work! -- Allison
Hey guys...one of your four lazy fans. I just like to say I love this episode. But please do another gripe show. You guys totally nailed Eric Schaeffer...if Lucy Fell maybe the most pretentious piece of shit Ive ever seen.
i regret watching it too. well, actually no, i don't. never have regrets in life. if i hadn't seen if lucy fell i wouldn't know how lame film could be.
I agree. Would've loved to talk about Kaidan (or is it Kwaidan?)... but it's been mentioned in other eps and Ed and I are the only ones who have seen it out of the group. But it's a beautiful movie. One of my favs.
Can anybody help identify the name of the series and episode:
A guy sees in the mirror another man going towards him trying to kill him but when he turns around the man disappears...the story goes on like this, whenever there is a reflection the killer appears but disappears when the guy turns around.
Didn't forget to mention it. Just not enough of us had seen it. Also we can only talk about so many movies within half an hour and that's normally limited to what everyone has seen. What can I say? We're lazy bums.
Ha just linked to the Asylum trailer. Love it. "The most exciting film you will ever see." If they want us to think that, they really shouldn't show a man killed by a windup toy in the ad lol. Still, I'll take your recommendation and try to see this.
NIGHTMARES and TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE someone already mentioned CATS EYE. The Jessica Walter thing sounds familiar...? Can't place it though.

Well that was very boring and pointless... You should try to understand what you see instead of judging it.

Aw dang - 54 minute run time but half is blank. I thought maybe this would be a two-for-one. Good episode though.
