@t1sutton I have the older HQ2 cam with HQR2 recorder package, recorder has just packed up though. :-( Other cams still going strong though :-P

Can't really say I see much difference, not on the majority of Laptop or PC screen sizes.

Personally, I'm not keen on the fish-eye of the new system.

@CaptionedFaves The reason for going HD is to capture more details... It's a BIG difference! If you can't see much difference, maybe it's your eyes going? ;P

720P captures more area than 1080P. I will post a comparasion shots later.

Seriously, couldn't see much difference between the two. The roadsign was just as blurred on the new one. Even checked on my HD Tablet.

Maybe those boring dual-carriageway tests were not the best examples.

@CaptionedFaves That comes down to FRAME RATE! If I do 720 @ 25 its not bad in bright daylight, but there is still some blurring once you get over 60 kph. @ 750x50 fps, all motion is clear as crystal! NO motion blurring whatsoever!
