If you wanna get rid of the black bars on the side without cutting off part of the video, right click on the event, click properties, go to the media tab @ the top, and change the pixel aspect ratio to 1.3333 (HDV 1080) if it's square and 1.0296 (PAL DV) if it's already widescreen, but not completely.

Or, right click the video on the track -> properties -> uncheck maintain aspect ratio for widescreen, then do what you do.

"Vegas Movie Studio does not support output sizes greater than 800(width)by 560 (height). the template you have selected has been removed from the template test. so i click custom 960 by 540 and it says the same thing again. and i have everythin else the same as you its just the image size so i make it 800 by 560 and i upload my video but its only HQ and i need it to be HD

I like the new Vegas Pro 9 because its looks at the video length nd how fast the pixels are and the res should be and it automatically does the bit rate for you! Excellent!

YouTube HD, can often load slow, causing it to appear laggy to you, but its often fine to everyone else.

maybe its because his either his graphics card or his processor because my laptop does this sometimes and its hard to control. i forget how I did it, I think I changed the firefox setting or something. or, if you have a laptop, change your power plan to high performance.

Dude if you want the video to fit the full screen all you have to do is go to that same thing and where it says: "Maintain Aspect Ratio" say 'NO' then itll fit the full screen. If you do it this retard way then itll cut off the picture

what you have to do to get rid of the black bars is right click on the video when you have it on the timeline and un click maintain aspect ratio

Can you please help me with this nooby software? When I render I don't have audio. Everything is configurated like in your video 2:06. When I opening rendered video eg with Winamp or WMP I don't have audio. When I open some music or any media compatible with these two softwares, audio works. In vegas when I play my project (before rendering) audio also works. I think that this software is just low class... I feel like I'm using BETA of this software, for only $600... pure joke

Lucas I have some problems with sounds lately with HD.

There's like a cut but the video keeps going then later the sound comes back & it makes it go out of sync.

I'm going to try this setting out but I have Windows Media Video V11 & Format WMV 9, not 9.2.

Looking at your channel, I see that your Video Camera records in a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is why, what you wanna do is go to Video Event/PanCrop

And at the top move it down to 16:9, then use my settings!

Hmm, I avoided Vegas 9 pro, for reasons like that, i didn't like it, i only rendered in it once, so i can't exactly help you, so sorry, i would try to maybe torrent something like Sony Vegas 8 pro
