  • Blotting one spot is easy but your methods are so difficult, My son spilled a bottle of red nail polish of my wife. He was running around with an open botten all over the house. That was the worst thing I have ever seen. I just let it dry over night and next day just used a fork and finger nails to remove now solidified pigments off.

    There is absolutely no sign of the nail polish and I spend $0 on it.

  • upon reading the comments here, it seems like baking soda worked out great for people but it just didnt work for me. My nail polish stain looks worse than ever after I tried to clean it with baking soda. My carpet now has white marks all over it in addition to the nail polish stain...

  • THANK YOU!! i spilled the BIGGEST blob of red nail polish on my carpet... my dad is rlly strict when it comes to nail polish on the rug!! i was panicing at first, but then i searched, "how to get nail polish out of carpet" and ur video was the first one! i fixed it quickly without anyone knowing!! YOURE A LIFE SAVER!!!

    btw kaileab i am using baking soda and its working REALLY good!!!!!! (sorta) lol!

  • thx this worked! got rid of bright red nail polish on beige carpet! only used hydrogen peroxide but had to scrub hard

  • AHHHH!!! my parent dont know but i spilled BRIGHT BLUE nail polish on my carpet so i started to SCRUB it with nail polish remover and now its a HUGE STAIN!!!!!

  • somebody told me windex would do too.

  • if this dont work use vinegar and lemon juice mixed together I SWEAR we just used it and it worked took it right out there isnt even a stain!!!!

  • i got some on my bed sheets and boy it stained bad! it was like 5 huge splashes! NOTHING would get it off thank goodness it hadent sunk in through onto the other side cuz i turned it the sheets over!!!!!!LOL

  • i tried putting nailpolish remover on a paper towel. then take hand sanitizer and squirt it on the stain. after that, pour some water on it. that should work. it helped me. and i got light red nail polish on my carpet! hope this helps :)

  • I Got BRIGHT red polish on mine... HAIR SPRAY worked the best. hunibuni2005....i guess you gotta call the experts :( good luck!
