I love modern medicine and I don't care of some nasty monkeys suffer for it. How does a lonely woman buy one of these, having no knowlege of how to handle a male baby when i reaches puberty? The breeder said she has lost infants at the mama throwing the baby, or eating it, and how is it OK that a newborn stays in a cage with no contact for 11 to 18 days so it imprints on the right being? The breeder said she waits that long to make sure the baby will "make it".

Most of the footage here is about 1980's to 1990's. Labs today are under more scrutiny then zoos. While in my opinion there is no excuse for making any animal suffer, they do not have an utopia in the wild. The people commenting here saying it's terrible always seem to be the first ones in line if they get cancer or?
