Forgot to lube the gasket of the new filter. Oh, and it's usually a good idea to take the oil cap off FIRST. What happens if you drain the oil, then realize the oil cap is seized? Then you're fucked.

Also, ensure you have the correct sump plug socket size and check the manufacturers specifications for how much oil you actually need as well.

Another point to make, used engine oil is in fact carcinogenic (cancer causing). It can be absorbed into the skin. Use latex gloves or a washing up glove especially when the sump plug comes off and clean off any spillage on the skin as soon as is possible.

The air hose fight is very dangerous.

You need to lower the car before adding the final quart. You also need to check for leaks as soon as you start the car.
