Regardless of who said it before you said it perfectly, keep letting your light shine, Here is one more that I heard some place and have lived by. "Lift as you climb."
just for you to know nelson mandela never used this speech. incorrectly attributed to Nelson Mandela. Marianne Wilson herself said:
"As honored as I would be had President Mandela quoted my words, indeed he did not. I have no idea where that story came from, but I am gratified that the paragraph has come to mean so much to so many people."
on straight notes its dope I really like how you done it, ive alwayse liked the speech, but it never really hit me till i heard timo cruz from coach carter speak it.
just wondering though (if anyone can spill) who actually wrote it, was it mandela or williamson? ive looked it up, but you know how the internet can be.
I saw so much in your smile. in you,YOU GLOW I saw so much in this video wow Thank you Jesus loves you and so do I..... LOVE IT WOULD CHANGE THE WORLD WE LIVE IN.
iv watched this before, but i was too afraid to respond! afraid of the greatness within, so i shut it down & quickly moved on to something else. i especially loved the first bit about our greatest fear.
Great poem you found. I agree, that we all have potential to be great and very few of us reach it mostly because of the fear of it but also other things like laziness. Most people are afraid of the unknown and one's potential is very unknown. I see that end part being true as well because I've seen this happened myself . When we see someone else doing something that we feel is great we like to copy it.
Actually, all of us are already there so the sentence very few of us reach it doesn't make much sense. Most people are not afraid of the unknown, we seek new experiences, knowledge and wisdom all the time.
