  • its sad that they get more respect once dead, and not asmuch when alive

  • 4:02 Make this song for me, the best song for remembering USA and Canada

  • It's a really good video and I'm sure Mike would have enjoyed it

  • Omg, the puppy @ 1.00! :( I want it!!!

  • God I love Canada.

  • TY for doing this whoever did this,it;s a freaking honor just watching it.Much love PPCLI NEVER FORGET!

  • @2020ArmyRanger Juno Beach: By the end of D-Day, 30,000 Canadians had been successfully landed, and the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division had penetrated further into France than any other Allied force, despite having faced strong resistance at the water's edge and later counterattacks on the beachhead by elements of the German Panzer divisions on 7 June and 8 June and in spite of the fact the The first wave suffered 50% casualties, the second highest of the five D-Day beachheads.

  • God bless our troops, For what they do is un-imaginably brave. COME BACK SAFE.

  • DON'T STOP FIGHTIN BOYS, COME BACK SAFE. GOD BLESS OUR CANADIAN TROOPS.

    Marc from Manitoba

  • An outstanding and fitting tribute to fine Canadian soldiers. Andy J Hayes, US Coast Guard (Ret) ...and shedding tears

  • OMG @ 110.......I want that child!!!!!

  • OMG @ 101.....I want that little puppy!!!!

  • Nice video, but you should have used the song Highway of Heroes by The Trews.

  • @TheMattswish I did this video up about 4 years ago before the Trews Song. Thanks for your comment, thanks for watching :)

  • @paramedicpaul then could you make a video like this but with the trews

  • @paramedicpaul : i personally love this song here..it reflects the passion & dedication of a warrior and those who honor them...and the Amazing Grace tribute..awesome. ty!

  • @paramedicpaul Forget the trews this song is much more appropriate.

  • @2020ArmyRanger

Have you ever heard of the War of 1812? Thomas Jefferson said before the war that it was just going to be a matter of marching.

By the way have you ever heard of the political saying in the US "54-40 or fight"? Look it up; every Canadian knows what it means.

  • @wdgarraway well jefferson was right it was just a march.... for canadian troop right to the white house to site it a flame.... CANADIAN PRIDE

  • @2020ArmyRanger canada took Vimy ridge without the USA

  • You got me good on that, America was the key point as was the Canadians when attacking against the Germans, without both of us Europe and other countries things would've turn differently.

  • Don't doubt the Canadians because we are very strong and proud people that we wont quit or stop in defending our homeland even if it means defending against America.

  • I was mistaken in what you were coming across in your words. I took it differently in what was written and now it becomes clear to me that your intentions were good.

  • @2020ArmyRanger That is soo not true, United States had most to all its soldiers attacking against the Japaneses, because of Pearl Harbor. Germany did the mistake in attacking Russia and Russia retaliated back agaisnt Germany and there they lost to the Russians. the U.S. did not win WWI it was the the total efforts of all the joining allies that won WWI, not the U.S. alone. nice try in taking credit when it was a full effort together and not one nation.....

  • @2020ArmyRanger oh just shut up, and i'm british. you are pissing me off downplaying what the candains did in world war two. When Britain decalred war on germany, a few days later canada decalared war. They scarfiiced their own sons to help us when we needed help the most.Nobody forced them to join us. we were alone fighting the nazi when france surrendered, getting bombed every single night, our cities destoryed ,and they still fought with us,they are a brave people, and a bloody good mate to us!

  • @2020ArmyRanger not denieing antything you say but i think that us canadians and britan were alis for the war of 1812 when the us tryed to take our land they helped us but thats history it is inportant because without history evrything that had happend would just happen agian.

  • hmm interesting haha.. bet you didn't know that Canadian soldiers are far better trained then US soldiers, also more respected across the world. Not to say that US soldiers dont deserve the same respect, because they do. Don't believe me? ask a real US soldier who has the better trained military and if they know what they are talking about they will say Canada

  • @2020ArmyRanger Sure,The USA is bigger and more powerful than Canada or any other country in the world, but to say Canada would not exist if it wasn't for the States is nonsense. And 100+ years ago,its canada that burnt down the white house lol They could have gone farther but never did.Don't make comments like that about your neighbors,instead..you should thank Canada and back them up ! Put down Vietnam,Aouth Arabia,South Korea etc...the real ones that would be dead without the US.

  • @2020ArmyRanger During WW2,The Canadians advanced on the germans 2 years before the Americans,,that's a fact! USA didn't go to war intil Pearl Harbour. Ans on the beaches of Normandy(D-Day),its the Canadians that won the beaches...that's a fact also.Yep,USA and canada are always allies but no time in history did Canadian soldiers(or Canada) need the States to bail them out...c'mon,read up on it ! And Canada are always joining forces with USA when there is a war to lend a help. Fact.

  • Be sure to thank Harper and the Conservative government every time another one of our kids come back in a body bag! Its not the Canadian kids fault, they are only trying to make a living and get ahead in life by joining the army. On the other hand, our government only wants to play nice with the Americans at our young generations expense. Shame on you Stephan Harper!

  • @2020ArmyRanger Anyone who knows history knows that's bullshit ! Go back to school and open the books kid! You need to thank Canada 100 times over !

  • It pains me to be at home, and seeing on hockey night in Canada, Don Cherry announce another soldier dead. It's terrible that we are sending our own men in to do something that we have no need to do. I fully support and love our troops 100%, but I don't support the fact that they are overseas. Send our loved ones home!

  • @devilsalltheway You need to tell people NOT to vote for Harper next time around !

  • Thanks for putting Darrell Priede in this vid! When he was working at Formation Imaging Services in Halifax I was working at 12 Wing Imaging Services, the 2 shops get together for Christmas and some other occasions and I can tell you that Darrell was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. After his death, I worked at FIS and can tell you that he (along with everyone else in this vid) will always be missed. Thanks to people like you who help put a human face on our military's sacrifices.
