@teencomment Yep! Try putting a bunch of tanks, helicopters, infantry, etc. on one side of a large field and the same entities on the other side of the field but on a different team! Let's just say CHAOS is the end result, LOL! That's what's so awesome about this game. You basically make whatever you want out of it. Even if you just want to goof around and create these super epic battles, you can do that and it's fine. That's exactly why I love editors included with games.

I need help, I made an awesome map i made in the OA editor and i cant seem to export it to multiplayer, I save it to multiplayer, then when i create a server and select a map, it´s not there, how to i play a map i made with the editor in singleplayer in multiplayer since the export to multiplayer isnt working?

Great video, I just have one question:

Going back to the empty vehicle part, at 1.11 it shows the SIDE menu, and you select EMPTY.

For some reason - unless I'm being really dumb - I just can't do the same. It's like 'empty' just isn't an option - any help much appreciated :>)

Anytime, I am happy to say I have completed my first mission and this will be available to be played on our server at 118.127.10.168:32001. It's called flight of the Phoenix and starts of with a battle raging at a spearhead insertion point of OPFOR.

There is a counter attack from the Rusky's and OPFOR has to push forward to take their main Base. Hope you can find the time to check it out.

Press alt+e in the main menu and a selection of island will come up then select one and you'll see something written with "3D".. and there you go, you have the 3d editor... but I have a problem with it. I can't put in any units.. How do I do it? It's unpatched German Version.. Please help..

0:40 that should help you with empty vehicle placement.

The box you select your side, look for the side called Empty. (You must already have a playable character in the game first. You can delete him later though)

I use Adobe premiere to render into .FLV flash at about 5000-6000Kbps

this means each minute of video is about 45-50MB or thereabouts

If there is not much going on I may lower it to 3000-4000.

Resolution I use 1280x720 to get youtubes 720p

BA we need to play arma2 together i bought full version. only problem is i dont have enough bandwidth for hosting. i get pretty choppy performance if server is more than 5 ppl. statz, gearest, me and a few friends been playing on expert mode for a bit and cooperatively lemme know if ur interested.
