If people just use AA meetings as a place to hide from alcohol then they are often pretty unhappy and not pleasant to be around. The why of it is we had to quit playing God it didn't work.He is the director we are the actors here to play our part. He is the father we are the children. What keeps it working is working with others chapter 7.

this isnt true! i am in aa and i go clubbing, raving and am engaged to someone who drinks! I dont even talk about my recovery to non aa friends. i go out all night and still have loads of fun! aa saved my life because when i did drink i was unhappy and dying...and i couldnt stop! people who go to aa are not just fun people, we are people who need help t stop drinking. once sober we can still have amazing fun and happy lives. this video is really bullshit
