@83912daniela I placed it in the oven to melt the cheese a bit. Try placing a lid/ cover over the pan for a minute. This will work too. cheers, KtC

I make something similar to this, but don't add beef or carrots. Next time I think I will. I love the whole thing covered in ketchup, it's so yummy!

yeah it is...but when you grate them like he did its okay to cook it like that...its kinda like when you make latkes or something

Yes. Grated work quite well and quick cooking. You could pat the shredded potato down with paper towel so they are not as wet. I do this if there is a lot. KtC

Awesome Mr. Kook! :D I do a simillar dish but i put in lots of extra mushrooms and cheese on top - then pop it into the oven till the cheese melts. Its fantastic :)

that would work. The recipe is a guidline. Add what you have is the way to go. I like the beef (I had a small piece I thought I would use up). Sausage, ham or just veggies work very well. Thank you mate, take care! KtC
