  • Well done fella :-)

  • Thanks for sharing a bravura portrayal of 1st-person accounts in patriotic Allied tracts- the winner-written Histories. You command here an art of scene construction- a coherent POV- rhythm- convincing less-is-more visuals &noir style. Adds up to a virtuosity. So:Where are you going? Channel101? Consider 1965's student phenom "It Happened Here". The scene's 20th C. war; its message hits farther. &Still we rilly dont know- Who lost WWII- What survived- &How? May your gifts benefit others.

  • really impressive

  • dude... you have talent one day that talent is going to give you lots and lots of money!!!

  • Awwwesommmmeee

  • That was kick ass!

  • This was really good and enjoyable to watch.

  • Why so many views though?

  • yes

  • PS. Well thought out camera angles make it less stagy and add to the excitement. Especially the landing craft doors and the view through the gun sight.

  • This is one of the best and most serious attempts I've seen. The textures are great and its clear that the scenic elements have been well planned, a real diorama base. This is definitely high end 'Army Men' animation. The textures and lighting really make a difference. Most of the other army men stuff is clearly low budget, drawn crayon back grounds etc, which is refreshing anti-Hollywood stuff. This is guerilla film making at its best, a super addition to stop the canon of stop motion.

  • @TheArtdecovampire Thanks very much, I'm now trying to add myself to my dioramas. Check my latest video, tell me what you think?

  • @dubblestein take a bow my friend you are a genius!! that was awsome, as an avid modeller i found this just so entertaining kinda serious yet kinda fun .......magic.

  • I rarely saw an army men stop motion, most stop motion I saw were those made with star wars, halo, or transformer toys. But nevertheless, this one is GREAT! I love the 'fire' and 'explosions' effects and the way you made these guys move.

  • dubb, I love your animations, I have a question and I´ll give you a suggestion

The question is how you can do that armymen stop motion look fantastic and where do I get those toys

My suggestion is for explosions use artificial fires, I think it´s useful

  • Brilliant :D

  • @niallogs Thanks bro

  • wow thats awesome

  • @520thDesertRats Thanks!

  • I think that the movements need to be sharper like make the movements a bit smaller in between the photo shots but everything else great

  • must of spent ages on this. I how about more sounds effects next time?

  • awsome flame thrower man

  • the best i have ever seen in my life omg

  • what scale soldiers do you use?

  • Nice one, impressive gunfire and flame, keep making bro :)

  • Not the best , but it does keep you watching. Alot of potential for better, if you lose the plastic men and go with military doll figures.

  • @jakemypants hey he worked very hard on this you should thank him blame me i'm the one that's horrible at making stop motion and people like you should shut up

  • Very good work! I'd say it's the best one so far. All it needs is a narrative, a script..

  • makes me wanna watch Saving Private Ryan now

  • a comment lol. it was cool.

  • to answer the title, "is this the best army men stop motion on youtube?" No

  • Great job, fantastic sets. I like how the fact that they aren't articulated hasn't affected the way they get around either. Many other people would just shuffle them along with the bases totally on show regardless !

  • You are very good.

  • One word: AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So cool! Humours too, the way they just topple over when they got shot,

  • that was amazing man, best on youtube

  • But way better than I could ever do though

  • good job

  • whoa, this was amazing!

  • @Logistica11735 Thanks, perhaps I did milk those udders dry. I'll be careful of that in the future.

  • @Logistica11735 Sorry, I need new equipment.

  • Steve good work, old school but I was really entertained. I love it!

  • @chrisoshiro1 Thanks so much, but whose Steve?

  • WOW! Oh yeah….WOW!

I love the editing and especially since film making is your day job.

I guess what was most impressive is the story telling, sure it’s DDAY and many have told it before but not like this. My mind didn’t care it was being acted out by plastic little “green army men” because the editing, sounds and diorama made it real.
