First day in office president called Chavez and made a deal for oil. Gas went from 5 to 1 dollar the very next day. In a year time, their economy grew 5 folds. They also were able to pay a debt with one international bank in 7 or 8 month time.
I was told it wasn't because of the party's "ideology" but because the guy was a realist.

It was the media's treatment of Ron Paul in 2008 that woke me up. Just imagine how many people are going ti be awakened in 2012 when the media stomps all over Ron Paul yet again. Either way, Ron Paul wins.

ABC News Australia (BBC equivalent) ran a story on their 24 hour news channel all day after Perry announced saying that he was now the front runner because he appeals to Democrats and is a favorite of the tea party. Then they showed a bunch of Texans at a rodeo saying "I like Perry!"

Those of you who want ron Paul to have a chance need to do more then post on here. You have to be a Cadre in the revolution. I am sure everyone knows people around them who are clueless as to what is going on in the world. be brave and start putting the word out. I have turned 3-5 people in the last two weeks and don't plan on slowing down. be a pebbel in the pond and lets get it done.

Too bad Ron Paul and Rand Paul to compete with the Tea Party will in my opinion become someone like Mitch McConnell, Eric Cantor, and Paul Ryan. The Republicans lack a leader of the caliber like Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and DD Eisenhower.
