Tribal Fusion Bellydance Workshop

I take American tribal Style bellydance. We call it an egyptian (stolen from cabaret style); the fusion part comes where the teacher is turning it in 1/4 turns to the right, whereas we would half turn them (toward the left) or full turn them (again, left). Still, it's fab choreo and I think I might introduce that vcariation to our troupe ;p

They're dancing to a klezmer/gypsy tune called 'Opa Cupa' but I'm not sure who's done this arrangement.

That's one of the many, many beautiful things about tribal fusion.. I have different names for all of my combos, and VERY far from traditional. I thought the vid was great, and call the moves whatever you want. lol It's gonna have your own twist on it anyway.

In the world of belly dance there are a million names for the same thing! It really just depends on the teacher and the style of dance!

Arabic hip twist? Is this an Egyptian with you changing the name? I see people changing names of moves and I get confused.
