wow 4 hours straight,that's great!! Faith only sleeps 2 hours straight at a time! He sounds like a very easy baby not needing you to put him to sleep-Faith has to be bounced or sung to.
@Lovesenduringpromise Malakai was only sleeping about 2 hours at a time for a few days and then we figured out he needed more food. so now he is taking about 5 ounces every 4 hours...still breastmilk though
@horseygirlash13 I try that with Faith but she always falls asleep on me-sometimes just feeding for a few seconds and she is passed out..lol. Im sure thats why she wakes so much.
that is a big reason why we started to bottle feed him at night at first...he would literally fall asleep the second he got on the boob. and during the day he would fall asleep after like 5 minutes. it just wasnt working out for us. Im completely on my own at night and mostly during the day because my husband works graveyard so I need to be able to feed him and have him sleep for more than a couple hours or I am just too exhausted
@horseygirlash13 I am going to have to pump enough milk for her at night and just have her on the bottle at night....it is very exhausting feeding her then laying her down and 10 minutes later she wants more.
Congrats Ashley!!! Baby Malakai is so precious! I am 7 weeks pregnant and listening to you talk about everything Malakai is doing is making me so excited to have another little baby!!! I can't wait!! That's awesome that Malakai is able to put himself to sleep at night:) You are doing a great job Mommy!!!
