I just got one of these and I have to say my first impression is this cube sucks. Especially in light of the cost and all the hype about it. The inside layers are clicky as hell and catch - not at all smooth. It hasn't popped on me yet but it is frustrating to solve. I have a mini qj that is way smoother.

I just got mine today. Only problems I have with it are

1) the stickers are so coated in latex, so much so that it makes the cube slip out of my hands.

2) Double layer turns take too much force. Will tensioning it change anything or does that just change the outer layers?

The outer layers are perfect out of the box on mine. When I turn it it whistles because the edges are hollow.

I haven't done a load of research but I have done one thing, ive noticed that most of you tits *looks through comments* are going to drive youtubers to stop making vids. Nearly every cube review or well most things cube related have a million comments "_________ your supporting KOs" and your gonna force cubers to stop doing what they do and you will have to spend money to see if a cube is ok and not let cubers who have partnerships and are payed to do what they do let you know what they think.

I have had only one core missalignment of the maru 4x4, and when one DOES happen, its so bad that you have to take the cube apart and rebuild it to fix it.

One of the few??? I can tension- adjust a QJ 4x4, a rubik's 4x4, and a eastshean... so pretty much every well-known 4x4 can be tension adjust, lol.

@BluePi1313 each of those can only be adjusted slightly and if i adjust my rubiks 4x4 hardly at all it pops like mad and adjusting an eastsheen is stupid because there are no springs in it (unless you mod it but thats not what he is talking about) because it makes it all jiggly and lock up a lot.

@zeroXcuber really? I just use a screwdriver, and it automatically became adjusted. The eastsheen is super loose (I don't fell like tightning it again), but it doesn't pop. My Rubik's brand doesn't pop. and my qj is really loose, it's loose enough to cut corners very well.

They patented the V-cube mech from 2x2x2 to 11x11x11.

If there's a patent on the V-cube mech for the 4x4x4, and V-cubes hasn't made it yet, it's still a knock-off if someone else makes it. I bet you didn't even do research. -_-

No. Its a 3-D puzzle that pieces move around. ALL the types, A, B, C, D, E, F, and all the other ones are knock offs. V Cube, YJ, Meffert's Maru, GH, Lan Lan,and more are knock offs. Even things like the megaminx are copied ideas of the Rubik's cube, mutated (if you care that much about those kind off puzzles).

They started off as bad image projectors. they were horrible and people did like them that much.
