As much as I loved the iphone (I play with it every time I go to the Apple store) the main reason I did not get it is because they (at least at the time) did not have a family plan - and I needed 3 phones. The monthly cost would have been more than double what I am currently paying - and found it hard to justify considering the phone I currently have does about as much - though is not as cool.
