If you're talking about the little yellow button with the black lines just to the right of the heart that sounds like a bass, then no, it's not repeat.. Repeat is the little button labeled 'Loop'. Basically the yellow button doesn't do anything as long as you just click and expect something to happen. However, click on it and then click on the music page. You'll notice it can drastically shorten the length of the area where you create music, or it can just take off a few bars. Depends.
Will you do Star Hill using those funny Mario Paint noises you have?
