I was there that night (my right arm in blue shirt at .15 and seen at 3.59). It was the greatest event I have ever seen. Still gives me goose bumps to see how much fun we had that night. I talked to Matt Hall (St. Somewhere Lead Singer) between sets and before this video, he had no idea that Jimmy was coming and wasn't sure how he would go back on for second set. He didn't know at that point that Jimmy was coming back on stage.

Before you call me "dumbass" for not reading the Wikipedia article (and, by the way, anytime somebody starts calling names, that's a good indication that they don't know what they're talking about), you should probably read it yourself. It doesn't say that Buffett is from Pascagoula. It says that, although he was born in Pascagoula, he grew up at 4623 North Sunset Drive in Mobile, Alabama.

It even gives the address in Al where he grew up.

I was talking to his sister, Lulu a couple of weeks ago at her restauant in Gulf Shores and we were swapping stories about growing up in L.A. (Lower Alabama), she and Jimmy from just outside Mobile and me and my family from Daphne.

That hasn't been my experience. During my time in Key West, it wasn't that they didn't care for him, it's just that they don't care about all of the folklore that's built up around Key West because of him.

Used to live on Williams St, about a block (give or take) from his studio.

We used to hang out at Pepe's and the Schooner Wharf and he was a regular at both places.
