When I started gaming, just the idea of having a hot 10/10 babe was enough to motivate me to massive action, but as i started getting the 8's and 9's, for some reason I started losing interest. I started noticing how it was only my ego that wanted it. I know that the periods I've been the happiest have been the times where I've had purpose, but I can't just summon purpose, direction and knowing what I want. Any ideas of positive actions towards learning or developing what it is you really want?
a lot of what he talks about is really related to transpersonal psychology. He talks about awakening and that concept. Check out the book "the power of now" its awesome
