That's how I always clear that chapter, it's too damn tedious to go around shoving those stupid priest and getting the treasure chests.

Now let me ask you this... How does skipping this chapter make a player suck? If anything, players capable of skipping this chapter and beating hard mode in the same playthrough are probably better than those who "need that EXP to survive".

In several FE games, there's chapters I finish in 1 turn like this one and if doing that makes the following chapters harder, I WELCOME IT.

So by ur definition doing an Ike drop in the final chapter and wrath resolving ashnard twice counts as making you a better player, by making the aftergame maps harder. I laugh at ur awesome reality and substite mine own! XD dude, on MANIAC (sorry but I forgot you people say "hard" mode) you CANNOT go a chapter without the EXP unless ur soloing, or haxing.

@First sentence: When the hell did I suggest that? and why the hell are you bringing up the trial maps when I only talked about beating hard mode? Re-read what I said:

Continuation: Let's say I setup a 2 save files on the same chapter, difference being that one save has a weaker team than the other. I have 2 people play it, 1 player can only beat it with the stronger team while the other can beat it on both saves. Who's the better player? THE GUY WHO BEAT BOTH SAVES.

I tend to think the items in this chapter are needed because of the intrinsic lack of physics in Maniac mode, and the abundance here.

FYI, I already have been to some psychiatrist voluntarily because I was curious of my health and he said I'm perfectly and have above average self-control.

I personally never found the items or the EXP in this chapter to be necessary in US Hard Mode, which is why I always skip it. It's the same in other FE games... such as Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon.

I've already seen Psychiatrists out of curiosity and they've said I'm perfectly fine and have "perfect" self-control.

@the rest: When I said Hard mode, I meant Hard mode on the US release. If you're talking about Maniac mode on the Japanese release, I can't comment on this since I've never played it. So maybe you're right, you may need the EXP in this chapter but I CAN'T COMMENT ON MANIAC MODE SINCE I NEVER PLAYED IT so I don't know for sure.

Wow, what a discussion... Interesting. But I agree with you, except that I'm a total item hog so I spend the time getting them anyway. But that aside, going on to FE: Shadow Dragon.... sounds interesting. I've heard that you can do some things online, such as a special shop with rare items going in and out. I plan on getting it, and if there's an online arena, I'd like to challenge you sometime. When I get it, I'll inform you of my friend code (or whatever they'll call it in that).

The only thing that would really make Fire Emblem better would be actual text speach like in Star Ocean or ToS. To some people its annoying but I like text speach over just plain text. Deeper weapon customization would be good too. Why dont you customize your weapons? I got lucky and made a Axe for Boyd called Armads (FE7, Hector's axe) with 21 on attack and a very high crit, it made the final battle in RD a cake walk on Hard. Every time he fought it was either a crit or Colossus skill.

in the first eng fire emblem game u c roy in the epilogue(eliwoods son).i wouldnt have known about fire emblem if it wasnt 4 marth either,unless i saw the sacred stones in stores b4 marth in melee.RD is good,but i was kinda dissapointed when i saw ike and his 3rd tier class in battle, he looks too plain, he looked a lot cooler in PoR.and thats pretty much exactly what i did a couple times,kill the boss in 1 turn with soren.

Not not at fighting i mean his story is awesome, and he just looks cool in Path of Radiance but not in Radiant Dawn. And Vague Katti is one of the best swords but i like brave swords more on myrmidons.

Crit avoid+ normal avoid. In most FE games that's it but in PoR its also a small bonus to hit%.

On the vid- oooh I never silenced any of them, but a perfect Ashera staff doesn't compare to the exp and the items in the chests and the Ashera Staff. Its not hard to avoid killing the priests, and the enemies arent very strong...

lol yeah that is a pretty easy way to get the staff but i dont know i like to steal the other chests.

Stefan and Zihark are probably my favorite fighters throughout the game even if they dont have has much potential as Mia >:( her HP sux.

that's why i give her a dracoshield, so her def outweighs her low HP. (female fighters always seem to have low HP, str, and Def. But higher, Res, Skill and Speed)

So the games sexiest? XD Oh well the other fire emblems were way better, Fire Emblem Fuuin no Tsurugi(Roy), Fire Emblem(Elwood, Lyn, and Hector), Fire Emblem Sacred Stone(Ephriam and Erika) But nice vid that really does help people who want the staff.

I thought Roy only appeared in SSBM for commercial purposes, and that he never actually appeared in a Fire emblem game?

But Marth is the reason I started playing FE, if they didn't put him in SSBM I would've missed a great game. oh yea, I got Radiant dawn a while ago, totally awesome game :D

Roy was only in SSBM because it was good advertisement for the GBA Fire Emblem that was coming out. They put Marth in because he was the first Fire Emblem Character. Radiant Dawn is awesome, if only they had a better weapon customization.

RD is definently awesome, but the voice acting sucks (I always skip parts with VA), hard isn't hard, but just plain annoying (You can't even see attack ranges anymore, so you have to determine the attack range manually), and the final chapter was way too easy, I beat it in 4 turns (just use characters with nihil or parity on the aura, and finish em off with other characters). And I never make custom weapons anyway, I think it's too expensive.

I personally like Mia better than Zihark and Stefan. The characters you get at low levels are the best you'll get through the game (Most of the time) (Rolf>Shinon|Gatrie>Tauroneo|S­oren>Callil|Jill>Haar.etc.etc) .

But remember that Zihark and Stefan have higher strength and defence than her, but she has higher resistance, speed and luck.(Stefan's luck sucks :P) So if you use mia, I recommend giving her a dracoshield for a small defence boost, and maybe an energy drop (Not necessary though)

It works if you don't care enough about the treasure. This can usually be 4-5 turned on HM even with all the treasure if you have a canto-heavy party.
