  • Yes, this piece is played by the Romanians, but was also played by the klezmorim, Jewish musicians living in Eastern Europe until WW2. They probably played it a little bit different though, in a "Jewish style", as well as their hora-dancing probably was a little bit different. Many folk tunes, as well as folk dances, are of course shared by several people, that is inevitable when different cultures live next to each other.
