Don't deny Kylie her creativity and talent, as unlike many artists (Madonna included) Kylie sings live and is not seen so much disposable as she once was.

This is by far the worst Madonna performance I have ever seen. She was off pitch the entire time with a wavering voice. She usually does a much better job.
She actually sounds good here. It's sung a bit higher than the record, so what? And really, if you think this is her worst vocal performance you obviously haven't heard/seen many Madonna performances. She has some really akward ones sprinkled throughout her live career.

TOTALLY NOT TRUE DUDE! Actually, an article was out where Madonna said that the reason was because there were good female artists out there being creative and entertaining and she figured she show her support of them. I don't know one person who didn't walk away impressed when they saw Kylie in concert... not one!

from your personal perspective maybe but i was bored stiff and a great deal more besides. Madonna wore that top to show her support for Kylie who was and still is very much labelled a pop lite artist. As with her early years she was taking flack for her cheesy camp music, Madonna was supporting her, why deny fact just because your a fan? Not everyone has to love Kylie!! She's in a less credible league than Madonna, she's never written anything close to Live To Tell, Like A Prayer or You'll See!

the writers of the songs you just mentioned (Patrick Leonard, Shep Pettibone and David Foster) have all said Madonna's contribution was minimal at best and that she added a line or two. Kylie wrote a majority of "Impossible Princess" (a lyrically stellar album) as well as "Chocolate", "In Your Eyes" and other top 10 hits. Don't deny Kylie her creativity and talent, as unlike many artists (Madonna included) Kylie sings live and is not seen so much disposable as she once was.

Madonna has registerd ALL of her songs bar the ones penned by Bjork, Rick Knowels and Andre Betts. She has over 220 songs registered for ASCAP WHICH denote HER as major contributing lyrical writer. Its in the rules. Dont lecture me on Kylie Minogue please, ive watched her mediocre career rise from pop manufactured stable to Madonna wannabe, she stopped at nothing to emulate her idol!

Her sales are lame and her concerts still only just about fill arenas, ive been mate, seen them all! Most mimick Madonnas legendary shows of old, pete waterman once said she'd stop at nothing to be Madonna even when in the first part of her career she was equalling Madonnas sales in Europe, it didnt last but the Madonna fascination did. Oh and Kylie uses playback, she does not sing live.

I work closely w/ songwriting/publishing EVERY DAY and you are clueless about what ASCAP is, or even does. It's a membership organization and doesn't denote ANYTHING of the sort. Fact. There's WAY too much in print to dispel your comments about poor ticket sales, less than stellar concerts, lip syncing, career being "mediocre", etc. There's tons indicating otherwise actually. What IS fact is that songs like "Nothing Fails" and "Justify My Love" (for example) and others were already complete pieces by Jem and Ingrid Chavez, with Madonna adding a line or two after the fact and claiming co-writer credit. Look up the names and songs yourself. Being listed as a contributor

Obviously , you are a Kylie fan. I used to be a Kylie fan too but Kylie has not really grown as a performer. I would not even consider her an artist. Kylie is a Madonna-wannabe. Madonna on the other hand had taken risks and changed so much musically and visually. I would never see Kylie live again!

If I'm right, I think that was the time when fans were saying they hated each other. So Madonna did this as a there's-no-such-thing. Kylie and Madonna have a good relationship, as far as I know. When Kylie's cancer was announced, Madonna sent a statement saying she was in her payers. And in her previous Homecoming Tour, Kylie covered Vogue's rap in one of her acts.

during the promo tour for the 'music' album, madonna sported various slogan t-shirts with the names of her children and her favourite female pop stars (britney and kylie). kylie had her comeback in 2000 (i believe the album was called 'light years') and madonna supported her by wearing that t-shirt presumably because she liked the album.

This is by far the worst Madonna performance I have ever seen. She was off pitch the entire time with a wavering voice. She usually does a much better job.
