I signed on to a skydiving school in the start of 1990's, but the class was dismissed in lack of people to fill the course. I moved to a part of Norway in my job, to a place where they didnt have skydiving school, and the water evaporated so to say. Now I have moved to a place where to find this school, but I ask myself; Maybe I am too old? I am 48 now, and I am uncertain of how people will react if I contact the local club, maybe I will be rejected?

You got the beginning right. It opened down wing 180 kind of. Because of that and that is was really hard it sendt me into a 2,5 twist on my risisers. So I was flying backwards, but looking out at the landing area. And could not look up because of the twists on the risers. From now on I'm packing my pilot chute really good!

Yes! Superuntintentional :-) Hurt a lot. Had two and a half twists on my risers. So was facing the tight way but flying back. Could not luck up. But got out off it and landed good. Lost my GoPro in the opening :-(
