  • I have a 78 series v8 diesel all stock still and just completed a drive through bogey hole the only extra we have added is another par of spotties runs great 2nd cruiser now, another great vehicle Toyota

  • I like your setup, but why not a Nissan?

  • Oh man! That looks to sweet!

  • Did he say, "Hi we're the Pelicans"? LOL, too funny. Nice rig tho

  • a real fucking car!!!!

  • Australian government are now using these armoured in iraq and afghanistan. Gotta love a company that hasnt gone too soft with the times.

  • 70 series (esp. 75) are as solid as nails!

  • This is a nice rig.Just right for both off/on-road purposes. Building or modifying your own rig can be a hobby too.

  • its a 76 series the utes are the 79's ive got a new model 76 best v8 diesel money can buy.

  • This thing is damn beautiful... I really need a LC when I grow up... But i can't choose between the 80 or the 70 :(

  • its a 76 not 70

the 70 is the shorty duurrrr

  • They said 70 series

  • @yoyo450079 Yes it is a 76 BUT they all come under the same heading as "70 series". They have always come under the same banner as the 70 series since the model was first brought out in the 80's.

  • some one has too much money lol

  • 6 months old and hes already spent all this money, 6 months isnt even long enough to find out how good the car is from stock.

    bloody hell

  • If I had the money to spare I would set it up just like this one. Awesome LC70 enjoy them while Toyota still makes them. V8 grunt up the wazoooo

  • I didn't like the look of the new cruisers when they first came out, but they are growing on me. Im on my third troopy now.

  • Have you ever used a high lift jack before if not than you wont evr need one

and if you drive under a low hanging branch your spot lights on the roof rack will breack and your ariel will snap in half

  • If it needed a turbo timer, toyota would have fiited one at the factory.

And like i said 6 months ago, he obviously never drives under over hanging branches in the scrub....

And get some decent split rims with tough tyres, like MRF. And Michelin tubes...

And get a swag and get rid of that camper trailer. Why not just stay home or go to a hotel ?

And having the air locker compressor under the seat.... oh god !

  • turbo timers aren't fitted at factory, due to standards that say that when you turn some equip. off it should within 2 sec for safety I guess.

  • this guy never drives under trees in the scrub ey ?

  • People in Australia are lucky to be able to buy new diesel solid axle Toyotas, something like that's only a dream in the states or illegal to drive on the streets. But i agree, real offroad vehicles are getting harder and harder to find, especially new ones. damn soccer moms

  • @pman9003 Were not lucky, just sensible ;-)

  • lol, I know like hunting, its gone to the rich man. Whats V8? I know he didn't swap a V8 into that rig??

My jokes would be: "the trailer is a petrol tank" and "gas stations must be around every corner there in the out back",

Gas, high revs, 4wd's have way less purpose than good ol' fashioned Diesel SFA rigs, WTF happened to Toyota? I'm through with them! I would have thought other countries couldn't live without SFA but SFA in all countries is now gone :-( gone like wheeling and hunting..

  • Mate the car is a diesel it's a turbo diesel

  • Whats happened to 4x4ing.. its turned into the Grey nomad blowing all his cash and spending 5,000,000 bucks.. what happened to the old cheap units!

  • 4x4ing is just getting better and better thats whats happening, if you cant afford to spend on something that WILL last a liftime than you can still get some heap of shit from a scrap yard

  • Believe me its not jelousy.. I run a 105 series cruiser with 5" of lift. Im not short on money. But i just look at a rig like this and think.. WHY? soooo much money as been poured into that.. I swear people only do it to get their truck in a magazine.. Build your truck.. Spend what you want.. But for christs sake! use it in the bush! That truck in this video has more polish and bling than it does truck.

  • i have to agree with you there buddy

  • @corvidcee i've got an old 75 series troopy complete with rust holes and "custom" paint work! i agree. a 4wd isn't made by throwing a tonne of cash at it. that's kinda boring really. no character.
