Hi Allan. Im just curious how you got the sound to work with Camtasia on Windows 7 on your laptop cuz i didnt get it to work. I mark "Line In" as sound source but Camtasia doesnt notice any sound. I do get the mic to work though. And also i cant download videos that are split up in two parts so that there are two videos on the same page, then only one of them are downloadable.

What internet browser are you using?

I was using google chrome and it only downloaded the first 20 seconds. Then I used firefox and it now downloads the whole video :)

I too have Real Player SP the free version on my laptop. It is true that Real Player only works on Firefox,Google Chrome,Internet Explorer and Lunascape browsers not any other browser only these. But in this version you do not need to go onto a web browser to download a video. Just click on Real Player to open it then where it says "search for video" in top right corner search bar,select web search. Then you will see the blue download link once video starts to download it. real player is terrible its constantly crashing and causing problems for d computer it needs 2 be updated too often. it also has many more problems that are just too boring 2 explain. i have d player on my pc but i hate it its terrible so i was wondering if some1 knew another softwear similar 2 real player. good video tho well done

I use this program mostly to burn online videos to DVD and they come out very well. There are setting that allow you play around with the video and sound quality too. Didn't cost anything to download!

Hey, I just upgraded from whatever Real Player to this. I use it to listen to music. All my music files are .m4a, they show up in RP as AAC and when I play them it thinks they are videos. Once played, they show up in the library as videos, not music. Is there a setting I have wrong? Anyone know how to leave these as music and have RP think they are music?

Hm... i'm not sure. Try doing a fresh install of the Program, from the Site. If not . Try using a different Music Player. like VLC or Windows 7 newest Windows Media Player

Well... you could burn DVD's (As an ISO image) with ImgBurn.

But do you have Windows 7?

I used to really like Real Player SP, it works for me only every so often, my main problem is it always freezes up whenever I attempt to covert a video so I can play it on my MP3 player, it works sometimes though so I know I am doing it right. Anyone know of a different FREE download (that is safe of course...).

Yeah Your completely right dude. I barley use it now . I use Mozilla plugins to download videos on youtube in HD or Audio Format. Realplayer is pretty popular but it has bugs.

Oh yeah . If your having Freezing moments . Try Windows 7. It never freezes with me. If not it's probably your Programs, Viruses, etc .

EVERY TIME I downloaded real player SP a invalid item was placed in my registry that can not be removed.even if you delete the program the item in the registry stayed, the program works fine but but I would really like to know what that invalid entry is in my registry

It's Vista. It has computability problems . You need XP or Windows 7 .

Idk... I don't use it no more. I'm coming up with a new solution instead of using this program. And get Windows 7 . It comes with Windows Media Player 11 . It could play any kind of video type. MP4 and MOV! . I was so happy with that. So upgrade to it. And it's much faster than Realplayer SP when loading or popping up a window to play that video or wtvr.

Download the software . Duh... If not . You can't convert it to H.264 . You need to pay for the Realplayer SP Plus .

I think you need Realplayer SP PLUS. And do you have Quicktime Player Installed. Google Quicktime and install it without Itunes.

You must have quicktime. go to quicktime(dot)com and download it and install it. now try converting it. Cause maybe your trying to convert it to H.264 is MOV Quicktime Movie Type. So go get it at that site.

Do you have the updated QuickTime. If this converter doesn't work in Realplayer SP. Try using "Any Video Converter". Look in my videos.

Hm... are you gonna put it onto a TV or a Ipod?. If it's a Ipod I think it's 340x480 . not sure. And if you have a big TV go with 16:9. That's 1280 x 720. Like the HD Button on my video. If you click on that the youtube video window will be big. If you have a HD TV . It'll be like 1900x2000 . Not Sure. I only have one 19' T.V lol. The Bigger size the better quailty. Mostly depends on the videos on how wide they are and the photos. The Bigger the size. IT's gonna be a big file.

Ohhh okay. Hm..... Do you want HD Quality or Already Clicked HQ . I recommend HQ For your videos cause it's smaller video size. So if you have Camtasia Studio 5 or 6. Set the ratio to 640x360. And it should be widescreen. Or if you want HD. Do 1280x720. You must have quicktime installed btw.

Just download the RealPlayer SP and it'll take out the old RealPlayer and it'll keep your old videos and files in your previous version.

I use to have it for Vista. But I don't use Vista anymore. If I were you. Get Windows 7. It's much more stable faster and doesn't have too much bugs than Vista. And it has more compatability with many programs that were mean't for Windows XP. (Even older games.)
