im after a mk1 fiesta badly. the front cover from the recent issue of classic ford has give me the idea 2 really do 1 up. my hopes were 4 it 2 b done 4 ford fair but tht wont be happenin as i cant find 1 grr!
great cars . had a 1978 fiesta "s" , 1.6 . could not be killed. and if you couldnt work on it yourself , you were screwed.ford dealers had nothing on this car (in the usa)
they were imported - in pretty good numbers from 1978 to 1981 - i think 81 . the escort came out in 82 - to replace it , fiesta being a german-direct imported temporay fix for the pinto being rear drive - and old.all came with the bigger 1.6 liter , all manual , and no a/c. they sold very well , and had a way above average reliability rep
The "salad dressing king" was the other racer/movie star, Paul Newman. The guy in the video is Steve McQueen. Paul was much more successful at both endeavors.
i got a mk 1 fiesta with x pack square archd kit and a 1400 cc custom engine with black weller steelies the body colour is orange its fuckin gorgeous

@001adr It wasn't a "ram air mod", it was a cold air intake to access air unheated by underhood temperatures.
