This video is simply fantastic! I always wondered about how o make the bottoms and now I see how. I have started making bags and I am totally hooked. Thank You so so so much.
Wow! What a perfect video! Glad to see your daughter invested at such a young age! Way to go Mom! I posted over at Sew Mama Sew how excited I am about this over here in Muscat, Oman. Now I am thinking this is just regular quilting cotton so off I go!! yay!
Just happened upon your site googling something else entirely. I just want to say thank you for making us all a little more aware of how we can be more responsible. I went to Canada this summer and there they charge .10 for each bag you need at the store. I thought this to be a wonderful incentive for being more recycling conscious and encouraging everyone to use recyclable bags. As a teacher I intend to suggest students use your site to learn how to make their own bags. Thanks green bag lady.
Tried to email you Green bag Lady, but I can not find your email on your blog site anywhere.
I wanted to show you my success with your bags here in the UK and to thank you for showing us how to recycle our materials to make these wonderful bags!
The video is helpful, but it needs more close-ups of the item as its being made (for example, it would've been nice to see the bottom corners after they were sewn). Thanks for posting it, though, and hopefully it will inspire more people to skip plastic bags and use fabric ones!
Wow that looks so simple and cute! My daughter and I were watching your video and now she wants a bag ASAP! :-) Thanks so much for the tutorial.
