It seems like Tom and Jerry is a expressive mixture of Buddhist philosophy and Christian theology.

Buddhist in the sense that Tom always desires to eat Jerry, and ends up suffering because of his intense cravings.

And Christian in the sense that, in some episodes, Tom is required to ask Jerry for forgiveness in order to survive.

I'm personaly an atheist, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has noticed those thought trends within the show?
