A number of things are strange here. First, at second base, you almost don't even worry about closing the glove. Second, the ball isn't going to squirt out that little hole, unless you're a retard. Third, that glove is a waste of money...and so is any other Rawlings glove, not made for a pro, made in this century. They have sucked for years now.
