I think they're very different videos. This one uses more blatant Illuminati symbolism but only because that's what's all over our currency, which I think fits perfectly within the context of the song and with one of the goals of the Illuminati: to replace culture with consumption.

In Golden Age, it's more generalized occult symbolism, co-opted by the Illuminati more recently with the aim of material gain but with much deeper and older connections to self-transformation and transfiguration.

Also, I definitely second Gorrilaz. For a pop band, they're amazingly innovative.

Also, Gnarls Barkley. It's a pretty different feel from TVOTR, but still really good. (Once you get past Crazy, which is good for a mega-hit, but dismal compared to the rest of their stuff)
