三年, the theme song of Lee Yee's final album (Vol 13) before his death in July 1980. A song sang with great emotion and full of sadness. I met him and his wife Teng Teng in 1972 in 9th Mile Cheras where I grew up, I was then in junior secondary school. He was such a nice and gentle guy. I attended his last concert in Pertama just 2 weeks before the accident. He asked me about 9th Mile Cheras and said he may want to move back there. He even encouraged me to further my studies overseas. RIP

Yes, a loss felt by all the Chinese-speaking folks in Malaysia and other places where his songs are heard. Also by those who know him through his music which is universal!
