Why would you buy this car. It's for men going through their mid life crisis. I own a BMW 550i and a M3 and love them both to death, but I'm getting old now and am starting to see that most BMW owners cads and fakes. My 550i is fast and fun, but the suspension is hard and rough and my back is starting to get the best of me. Im seriously considering buying a A8. What do you guys think?

@Mowner3 my 7 made my back hurt too; possibly my wallet was too heavy so it fixed that for me as well. The 740 rode smooth, but I speak E38 which did not bound or pitch but never deflected or rolled. Lesson: If I was not driving it, I was maintaining it. Sixteen quarts of Mobil anyone? Plus, you find lesser owners pining at you [1,3,5], falling in line. But, it was not as quick or lively as a A8.

They're a bit of a laugh to drive when you get them initially but you get bored with them fairly quickly. A car is a car is a car. Theres nothing wrong with a corolla buddy. Flash cars don't make you taller, wiser or a better person no matter what any of the tossers who invariably drive them might like to think :D.

I drove the previous version of the 750li, I did not care for it at all.

Mercedes is available with a V-12 bi-Turbo, all wheel drive etc.
