In wolfenstein: ET, the 'defend' waypoint flag makes bots camp, depending on their behavior. I think they will just as well in their final release for these valve games. :)

I dont see why valve didn't use bots like the ones in CSS & Condition Zero in DOD:S... those bots were really good

because they are a lil harder to program because of the classes: a soldier with a bazoka can't act like a rifleman and a rifleman can't act like a sniper

They seem to act like Sturmbot.

They use commands, they probably follow commands and act stiff and don't really use any strategy.

None-the-less a bot at all on DoD is amazing. :) Can't wait to play.
