  • I am looking for someone who may have known or fought with Leonard L Cutter, a green beret. He served 3 tours, I believe. If anyone can help me, that would be awesome.

  • Also RIP SGT FT ANDY REED

who also served in the Vietnam war OO by the way OOH-RAH !!!!!

  • This is very old but me as a marine we might not eat as much as we need to, but we keep going because we want to.To me it was all will power the, others because they haft to but the number one thing that still pushes me is helping out the civilians.Myself I like seeing them simile again and not haft to be afraid people say we kill civilians but yes sadly true because it was a DAM order. If you don't like that comment well just don't like it then. For all the guys that join please go to college1.

  • - Soon after this happened, LBJ changed everything and started rolling thunder and etc. I got this info from the book "Arc Light One" by Don Hartan; one of the survivors of the collision. But I guess that doesn't belong here. This is a vid about Green Berets. God bless them, they really made life a living hell for Charlie.

  • (continued)- someone screwed up when they were en route. The bombers (flying out of Guam) were flying towards a typhoon, and one of the pilots thought they should go around. However he failed to communicate this to the rest of the flight. He turned around, and ended up colliding with another b52. They were only 5 or so survivors. When the other bombers noticed this, the mission was called off. That was the Arc Light One mission. (continued)

  • LBJ ruined everything. You know we could have won this thing as early as 1965? In April 1965, the Air Force was going to launch a raid of 30 B-52's carrying maximum payload to bomb the Norths largest MiG base near Hanoi. They would have dropped 85,000+ pounds of Mk82s and obliterated the place, which would make the NVA generals piss their pants. If they refused to call an armistice, we would move on to the Haiphong harbor and other targets. But then-(next comment

  • i know what im gonna get from this but

THE SAS EATS GREEN BERETS FOR BREASKFAST"

  • @Danielthephenom yeah. no! the s.a.s is a intance fighting force. but, we had balls and went to nam. u guys just stayed in england and listened to your hippie band " the beatles".

  • @likeaglove123 because we were not stupid to go in, you always want our help, but you never give it to use. Yet again did you win Nam......no. We won our asian conflict using what your yanks cant handle, Hearts and minds, not blowing the crap out of everything.

  • @Danielthephenom what conflict? the vietnamese were supported by the russians and chineses

  • @Danielthephenom fuck u, u piece of shit we rule and this was my friend talking biotch

  • @Danielthephenom Actually they work together a lot of the times sharing information and tricks. In fact the founder of Delta Force worked closely with the SAS at one point. One Green Beret General was actually an honorary member of the SAS. Instead of eatting each other for breakfast they're more likely to eat breakfast together namely the people they just both fought and beat!:)

  • ya and navy seals shit bigger than the SAS

  • @usmc11able That's because American diets are garbage and all the food you eat does nothing for your body.

  • @monkeymirror ok son keep telling youself that and come up with a few new things to say aside from the oldest thing in the book towards american that thier fat, btw im not even a american and im smart enough to know theyd beat the shit outa britan

  • @usmc11able Still doesn't change the fact that all other Armies eat 10 times better than any American can and ever will.

  • @monkeymirror did u acctually just compare armies and citizens??? wow your not to smart to even be arguing that any other country would compare to the states millitary power aside from china russia and mabey north korea

  • if we aren't already, sof need to start raising hell in pakistan, just like macv sog did in laos and cambodia.

  • lessons on infiltration that were being ignored in Iraq?

    And Afghanistan?

  • I remember reading Jim Morris' articles in the old "Eagle" magazine in the Eighties. It was a mercenary/war magazine focusing on Vietnam, present day, and other related warfare from the nuts-and-bolts perspective. If Jim Morris were alive today he'd not take well to our Pentagon.

  • aw wow ur so cool ya dads proballyy just sayin dat cos he is a dickhead

  • my dad is a green beret captain he controlls a patalion or what ever

  • A captain would be a company commander.

  • The Green Berets are the original BEST OF THE BEST!!!

  • oh yeaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

  • @hmks73 the Marines are thee original and clearly the BEST

  • @poxflaza you're drunk the marines are badass but not the best they have little to work with which inhibits their true potential, seals and green berets are badass-er.

  • @papasmirf31 the green berets and Seals are special forces...how are you going to compare frontline infantry with special forces?

  • @poxflaza green beret are special forces, SEALS are special operations. I figured it was appropriate since this video is about green berets didn't realize we were comparing regular infantry. no doubt though when in comparison marines out do the regular army infantry.

  • green beret has passed away recently ..laurence "buzzy" young ..from weymouth mass 18 years green beret ..rip there wasnt many like u

  • Hey we never lost a war that was never declaired a war and the politicians lost it for us they stoped the US Forces from finishing the Job Ever Been to Vietnam? I was there in 68 69 and part of 70 so dont talk the talk if youa cant walk the walk

  • Actually, we were winning the war. Militarily, the Tet offensive was a massive failure. America gave up, which is why we lost.

  • @LSDetroit america did not give up both nations called a seize fire idiot

  • If America had tried harder..did we even have anything else we could have used on them..or did we pull out cuz we were getting our asses kicked...all i wanna no is could we have won if our country depended on it

  • Look up a couple operations called Linebacker 1 and Linebacker 2

  • It was nothing but politics. Liberalism prevented us from making efficient use of our fantastic war machine in Vietnam. We weren't allowed the funding to implement total devastation. And finally the idiot reporters started chanting, "we cant win".. and then it was all over. America's days of defending itself are over - liberals will destroy any spark of retaliation to terrorist attacks. We're just another European State now. Think about it. What made this country great is gone. Tears you up.

  • It's quite depressing isnt it?

  • treason. powerful men who talked right and pissed left. traitors interested in weapons sales, drug deals and homosexual perversion. They left the US infantryman to be backstabbed. Leftists Media campaign together with Paris "peace" talks did the rest. The French zionists had their part in it after ww2 by training and arming Ho Chi Minh. Communists weapons are everything that is bad and sinful; lying, cheating, bribing, murdering, and then blaming someone innocent. Lenin already advocated it.

  • of course America would win..the reason they say that America "lost" the war is not true..

the US GI`s didnt lose the war..the politicians didnt allow them to win.

everytime they fought to take an objective the politicians would tell them to just give it back. after losses and pain.

58,000 US losses against over a MILLION dead gooks. Those are the numbers that proof US superiotity.

when the RVN sturmed the south of vietnam the US GI`s was long gone, after the threat signed in Paris in 1973.

  • we were winning, the main reason we pulled out is because of the people back home... everyone was against the war and persuaded the government that the war was pointless and a waste of money... but little did they know that they would make it a waste of lives.

  • @gunnr2 yes indeed, vietcong was loosing badly the vietnam war, for example you can see info about tet offensive

  • @gunnr2 the Vietnam war was not a waste. my grandma is from vietnam and she said the VietCong treated her badly and took her food away from my mom and her siblings and she said th america troops helped her out a lot

  • @gunnr2 say that to the veterans of vietnam.........

  • @gunnr2 US army definitely won the majority of the battles. The death ratio in the NAm War was 1 US trooper KIA for 10 NVA or VC KIA.....

  • @gunnr2 wasn't just people at homes, the Viets were convincing the US they couldn't win and it was a pointless war and it was just a slaughter of innocence.

  • some of them probably died alredy...well i feel sorry 4 them

  • Why sorry?

  • Green beret are the best.

  • I believe it is the Green Berets...they are all neck in neck to eachother. All very elite and appreciated.

  • Whos better American Green beret Or the australian and british SaS im pretty sure The SaS are supposed to be the elite, the best in the world but im not sure anyone know?

  • Great info, great Vid.

  • Ong Ho` la` do` an cuop .Chet roi` con xay lag to .Damn

  • there was enough soldiers the war just wasnt ment to be won

  • I listen lots videos about it.

    I can remember one thing.

The problem came when the war has lost the spirit and soldiers self control with patchs of recruits badly oriented.

((Sorry to my english if it's really bad.))

  • THanks for your lost history film

  • thx

  • phan dong qua , anyway uncle Ho van co nhieu quyen luc do byeeeeeeeee

  • fuck dan cong san vietnam

  • The narrator of this video happens to be Jim Morris, and his book War Story is without any doubt the finest book I have ever read. he told it like it was! Thank you sir.

  • Yes, you R right, Jim Morris is the one and Photo credits are J. P. Laffont/Sygma

  • @Paladin1441

    Let me ask what book?

  • @sla165 Jim Morris wrote a book called War Story and he wrote the devils secret name, it tells of Crews McColluch, Billy Waugh, And other legends in the group. it also tells of Luette, Phillipe Drouin and Nay Re. its a hell of a saga. I highly recommend it.
