This was the reason I joined the 'Coats. This is Norton High School @ Norton, OH, and I was in 8th grade going into High School when I saw this run-through. Between '91 Nutville and '89 Sing Sing Sing, it doesn't get any better than this if you are a soprano player...
I have no clue where we were practicing that day...but I loved every minute of it. It was my first year in the corps. Glad to have found some of this old footage on this site. Thanks for the memories...
LOL!!! Bender here.....I almost forgot about that. I never did so many push ups in my life. I miss Bando-Bill and his conducting anticts. He made me laugh. Practicing at the Boys Club then taking the trip to the armory in the early spring. Early season practices in the Akron Rubber-Wok. Getting praise by one instructor and ripped by another. Favorite quote of all time....The Glassmen wan't your asses like a fag!!! - Sly. Glad to see the old boys are tearing it up in the finals too.

the rip at :03 is GODLY. Cut through so well on the Finals DVD.
If Bloo ever brings back another old chart, I hope it's this one. By far my favorite Bloo arrangement.
