Everyone is aware through school that there were people that needed the attention of others. Those people would do anything to get the attention of others, and as much attention as they could get. I'd think to most mature people this action would seem a little sad. However these are the people that become popstars.

I think people say things like 'everyone secretly wants to be famous' because the people who are famous are generally shallow and in desperate need of attention and can't imagine people having deeper grounds.
Look at the thousands of scientists and engineers across the world who are hardly ever noticed at all, and know they probably won't be when they start their careers. Yet they work harder than any 'celeb' and are generally happy, satisfied people. At least the ones I know.
Contracts enforce many celebs to sell their movie, which means interviews and selling themselves in the process. Scientists and engineers do not generally need the attention of a huge audience in order to get their work done successfully. Actors have to sell tickets. Most actors didn't start off in the business. Most seem to come from middle-class families. Just b/c they got famous I don't think you can generalize that they were all brain washed.
A lot of celebs represent a lot more then you covered, Im sorry. It is a matter of opinion, and although you make it perfectly clear it is just your opinion, I cant help but feel your making a statement about the topic.
Does everyone secretly want to be famous? No. Does anyone who isn't famous understand what fame means without experiencing it? No. You cant comment on what you dont understand; theorycrafting only goes so far.
So no philosophy. No religion. No math or science (as it all begins with theory)
The world we know is the way we percieve it. If you are only certain of that which you personally experience; you must be opposed to education and the exchange of thought between minds completely.

In high school people always told me they wanted to "see my name in lights" someday, but even though I could potentially become famous for what I do... I don't WANT to! I don't want that sort of attention and scrutiny and judgement! I want to live a peaceful, happy life and just look at the celeb lifestyle: drugs, alcoholism, depression. Not for me, and really shouldn't be for anyone. I really appreciate your video!
She is a pretty smart kid actually. She brings up some valid points about being a celebrity and giving up your privacy. I would probably enjoy listening to her again and again.

Alot of 'famous' people are gonna seriously get hit by the recession, as like AIG, the crowd who sponsor ManU almost collapsed, so they may not be able to afford to sponsor them, so all footballers and their 'WAGs' may suffer
