Prototype was bad ass, was like a GTA on crack, and felt like you were like guyver or venom. tore up tankes and the coptors like a beast , final boss was hard but was just full of kickassness and strategy and explosions , Hail Alex Mercer, hopefully another porototype is on the way.

starting out yes they are awkward not complicated but once you are used to it you are you link all your moves together smoothly. Targeting is just bad when its chaotic.

the only thing i have to say is if you ever wanted to play as carnage in a video game then you are gonna love this.

I would give it less because the story was so short. After that you really dont have anything to do and you get bored to slashing ppl pretty fast.

Btw the last boss was pretty hard, and the big thing also ^^ (though that one was only time taking)

I have never played infamous because well i don't have a ps3 but it looks kickass. i have a 360 so i obviously played prototype, I think its a kickass game. graphics could be a little better but so far i have found nuttin else wrong with it. decent game and a good buy in my standards.

I have BioShock Collector's Edition and it came with a Big Daddy figure :) It's sweet. Resident Evil 5 has a figurine too, Halo has them, Assassin's Creed has it, Street Fighter 4, Resistance 2 has a Chimera figure as well :D So there are plenty other games with bonuses.

I don't want to piss off anyone who likes prototype but:the story is REALLY flat.I mean there is that genetics-laboratory and the corrupt military-hm looks like sth went wrong-surprise!Also the character doesn't care if he kills civillians and that makes me not caring about him it's like you play another guy than the one u see in those cinematics. All in all you CAN have fun with it if U like ripping some ass but if U need a good story to enjoy a game I would recommend to rent it istead

Nice advice man, I was surprised when I carved up an entire street of civiians absolutly no retaliation came at all, no police, no swat.. no tanks! no army or anything i literally have to run into a military zone and carv up those guys for fun, and i don't like how you punch a civiilian once and they die..? wtf lol so it makes nearly ever move totally overkill.

Wow...so that game really came out? The way the trailers showed, they were mostly trailer action than gameplay, though it seems they managed to pull through with the mechanics.

In the first 10 minutes of gameplay you have all the powers.... well it makes you use all the powers... but I think they are all fully upgraded during that section of the game... But yes your right during the actualy game you have to upgrade each power with new abilities.

I played the game for about 8 hours.... so yes with in that time limit it did get repetitive, alot of the side missions are the same thing over and over just in different locations.
