  • Are children small, or just far away? HUH!

  • Why am I riding a chocobo when I could be riding a GUN?

  • 3:11

Haha, there's Emerald in the distance.

  • you may have been sarcastic/joking, but when you asked "What is this?" while underwater, you were the fallen Gelinka plane

  • Everytime it changes into another object, I make a "pop" sound. XD

  • What is that thing at 00:37?

  • @ConyoDoom Diamond Weapon

  • WHAT ARE THESE CODES???

  • And the Chocobo was so fast he didnt move his feet xD

  • And the Chocobo was so fast he didnt move his feet xD

  • That on is really funny, i mean your controling...

    Let me think of it...

    More than a lot^^

  • can I have the code to change Cloud's model to Tifa?

  • Did you try to use the submarine to go see the "onyx" weapon ;P.

  • Stupid question; Why are some of the items far away when you're on water?

  • That is actually a good question that I would like to know the answer to myself.

  • @GarlandTheGreat After some reading, it's because they are never supposed to exist on that land type, so the co-ordinates are printed elsewhere. I'm pretty sure that if you used the No Water Code/ Land Change Code and combined it with this, you'd get some pretty trippy results.

  • @MJNSEIFER Looking at it, it may have to do with the 'ground condition code,' if such a stupid thing exists, of course. I.E. certain objects only exist while on the ground, but in water and in forests, don't technically exist....... or something like that.

  • Cloud The ShapeSwitcher

  • Haha, awesome, you finally got to control the Gold Saucer.

  • 2:33 civilian cid...

  • Maaaaaan, again, so many possibilities opened up... that coral-reef looking thing had to have been an enter-able area that was unused. Too bad, it would have been interesting, what it'd be like. Maybe the underwater materia would have had use for it as well as just the Weapon.

(Cuz in the Japanese version they had an Underwater Materia programmed that went unused since they didn't have time to include the Weapon battle)

And you finally got to be the coveted Gold Saucer!!! :D Yaaaaaay!!!

  • what the hell is that at 2:50??

  • 0:54- What exactly is that spinny thingy?

  • That would be the Highwind propeller.

  • yesssss awesome music

  • when you said what the hell is this? its the underwater mako reactor. :D

  • Garland, you realized you have proven there actually IS a silver chocobo o_0

  • wow your videos are funny, and lol at when you try to duplicate the objects XD

sorry to ask though, but dosen't it crash? I mean the window had a pretty epic seizure o__O

  • And this is a gameshark code? What is it?

  • There's still one more thing other than the Zolom: airborne Ultimate Weapon.

  • The thing at 2:50 seems to be a coral reef, altough I don't remember seeing one before in the underwater area. It probably was thrown away in the final release for whatever reason...

Also, awesome vid and even more awesome music selection (if that's even possible).

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI can't wait Garland! Awesome, underwater Cid! Good job (as usual)

  • It's pretty cool youre looking into this stuff. But I fail sometimes to see why this type of thing fascinates people so much.

Yes, if you mess with a games code, you can make glitches and strange things happen. Yes, games use sprites.

I'll probably get hit with mass "-1" for this, but honestly: FF7 Game shark goodies, FF7 Homemade battles, FF7 Challenge... how about FF7 speed run? Or did we all forget about that one?

  • Personally, these videos fascinate me so much because of all the possible things you can do with only gameshark codes, and thanks to Garland's creativy and sense of humor it turns up being awesome and enjoyable to watch and makes you look forward for what he'll do in the next video.

It's not like i don't care about anything else Garland uploads, and he does a good job in each video overall, but well, if it wasn't for these "Gameshark Goodies" i wouldn't have really known him at all 'XD

  • I was hoping everyone had forgotten about it, but that's certainly not the case.

I tried some attempts today, after not touching it for 6+ months, but all it resulted was another PC mouse destroyed in anger. It was hardly working anymore anyway, but still.

I will still finish the run, but it will be at least 5 minutes slower than I wanted it to be, as I seriously can't take this anymore. Starting this run is the biggest mistake I've done in my life.

  • Throw in the towel man. Cmon. There's nothing wrong with 2 or 3 people working on a SS run people will always know you for being a FF7 god. Why not ask players such as brutalal or lolo to help you out?

  • OMG! A whole five minutes!

  • @OwoneX Speed runs? Yawn.

  • haha nice vid. you should do one of these for FFVIII too. well its an idea at least

  • Unfortunately, I haven't found many interesting codes for FFVIII and FFIX. All I can find is the usual max stats, all items and stuff.

  • I have some "enemy control" codes for Final Fantasy 8, but the FF7 codes are much more funny than these.

  • lol 5:00 the chocobos farting to move forward xD

  • More excellent gameshark goodies courtesy of Garland the Great.

  • Tease!! Arghh. Sunday is aaaages away ;_;

  • You finally got your dream you controlled the Gold saucer haha can't be much left to get out of the game now can there? as always awesome video!

  • epic music

  • I'd never think you could control the barrier, that's awesome.

  • That was awesome, i loved when tifa was trying to get on an invisible chocobo XD

  • Hey, that music reminds me (and I'm really sorry for asking a question like this): are you going to finish NSGNSNCNINTQ in the near future?

  • Marches <_<

  • What? I don't remember typing such a word. I must have been tired or drunk or both :P

  • 2:50 and 8:27 ...what is that? I don't remember seeing anything like those 2 o-O'

And, if you had bumped into Ruby Weapon/Ancient Forest it would've triggered a fight with him? Just like when you entered Ancient Forest/Submarine?

  • No idea what the thing at 2:50 is, but the thing at 8:27 is the Highwind's propellers, which I already controlled after Diamond Weapon in the beginning.

  • Garland = God

  • Holy fuck, can't wait for part 2!!!!

  • Lol Tifa looked like a bunny rabbit XD awesome video, really enjoyed seeing Cloud turn into chocobos and stuff xP

  • I'm intrigued to see what remains ;-) You must have controlled every single possible world map model in that video (except Ruby Weapon).

So what's next? Will you be controlling NPCs on the field screen? Is there a code to put field models on the world map? I eagerly await the next video.

  • I have been able to control a NPC in Cosmo Canyon with the "most epic glitch", but I have yet to find any codes that allow you to do that. The fact that I have done that pretty much proves that they exist, though.

  • I've also seen a code where Cloud turned into Diamond Weapon in battle - what are the limits on that?

  • Awesome music choice and nice vid, as always : )

  • If THAT was the boring stuff, I really can't wait to see the exciting stuff.

  • awesome ;)

  • sweet i got my ps1 gameshark today whats the code tb plz
