Baseball bat is difficult to break it's true (It might break your leg if you try) But, Hard wood is easier to break than Soft-flexible wood (Ask your friend and you'll get the same answer) And you can see in this video how it bend. They real Muay Thai doesn't teach you to kick Kendo stick, it's impossible to break a Kendo stick in 1 kick. The real Muay Thai teaches you to cut down a banana tree within 100 kicks for rookies and 30 kicks for pros, kicking at the stem which has texture closest to Human body/skin.

Normally a full grown banana tree has a steam of 6-inch diameter.
