  • *LOVE

  • All I can say to the script writers of Frasier is: WELL DONE. ONLY "Frasier" cold take a key actress's real life pregnancy and actually turn it into an opportunity for deep character development; a chance to bring a whole new dimension to a character relationship that's been going on (however one-sided) since episode one. I am reminded why I LOVER this show every time I watch it. <333

  • "You'd eat a worm if I gave it a French name!" haha! lmao. And that smug, childish look on Niles' face after he got laid. I guess boys will be boys, even in their forties! <3 <3

  • An insightful and deep episode to be sure, but damn! That pig thing still gets me today! Hilarious!!

  • Kelsey is one hell of a great actor

  • I'd love to read the Crane Boys Mystery stories

  • "You were never in love with her, you were in love AT her." Damn...listening to Frasier say that really makes me think how I've been in Niles situation so many times. Keep chasing after illusions, just to be disappointed.

  • This episode is amazing on so many levels!

  • Isn't Niles at the end just the defining image of the cat that ate the cream?

  • I know it's cliched to say statements such as this but Frasier is quite easily one of the best shows on television, I use the present tense because it still applies today.

  • @JCaesar11 agree with you on that, jcaesar! thanks for youtube, it's exactly as if the series is ongoing.

  • @izzybizzy333 Moon Dance :)

  • that pig is hILArious!

  • The Nancy boys?

easily one of the funniest lines in the episode.

  • Nothing like a good argument to get the good sex flowing lol! I loved what Martin said lol "God bless you son." lol!

  • iv looking everywhere for this episode, thank you so much for uploading this:)

  • I remember when this one first aired. At one second I thought "You've got to be f#ng kidding me! a Clip show!?", and was about to turn the TV off in disgust. Then the FX twist hit in, and they managed to make an agrivatiing US sitcom cliché into a genius plot device.

  • Gorgeous episode... very moving scenes, you genius actors/writers! Random: I love how Roz couldn't stand these brothers (esp. Niles) earlier on, and now they're all sitting together, making fun of each other goodnaturedly.

  • @twiwonder I agree, I'd love to know what happened after Frasier's move to San-Francisco. Did Martin, Ronnie, Niles and Daphne stay friendly with Roz? A spin-off of a spin-off maybe a risk, but if any set of writers could have pulled it off the Frasier team could.

  • @Stedmaniac I would definitely take time to see that.

  • It's nothing short of the best television series ever aired.

  • Shhhhhhhhh, Im trying to watch the show......

  • Preg Daphne is back she hurt the later seasons getting preg

  • Daphne was being a cunt to begin with and Niles ends up apologising to her, bullshit feminist nonsense.

  • @Pilkie101 I always "appreciate" when a person has been indoctrinated to believe that it is the feminists who are irrational (rather than some people-- some, who happen to be women-- are irrational). Where had you gathered this "information" from?! A SECONDARY source such as... oh... Bill O'Reilly?!

  • @QUARKyNERD Also, I should have written "'source'" -- using quotes! I would HATE to give the impression that he actually looked into the thing... (This is why the rule of thumb to never use SECONDARY sources...)

  • @QUARKyNERD

You silly sausage. You think that asserting that others are "indoctrinated" elevates you to a higher intellectual plane by virtue of the fact that you have so deftly avoided this indoctrination. You're indoctrinated by your own ego to believe that you are capable of independent thought. Who wee weed in your chips?

  • @Pilkie101 Well, you're just being presumptuous: you have assumed that I believe that no one is as informed as I am. I have made no so claim. I WILL assert, however that man, MANY people (yes, including myself) are more informed than "Pilkie101." I do not think I have been referred to as a sausage before... let alone a silly one... lol. Also, what does "who wee weed in your chips" mean?!?!?!

  • @QUARKyNERD (continued) Did you mean to put a hyphen in between wee and weed? That would make some sense. If that IS the case, whether or NOT that question IS rhetorical, it is QUITE clear that I am ANGRY at those people who STILL are so mentally BASE as he (and thee)!

  • @QUARKyNERD

    Right...so...umm, you're mentally ill, yeah?

  • @Pilkie101 So you concede on both counts, then?!

  • @QUARKyNERD

To concede something you first must be in an argument. I don't argue with psychos in the comments to videos on youtube, so no is the answer to your question.

  • @Pilkie101 Yes, you are "above" arguing: you simply resort to name calling! Oh MY, how you have PROVED how intellectually ADEPT you are!

  • Wheres the one where niles and daphne tango?

  • you can tell she drops back into her London accent here. I think it's from the time off.

  • @TheScaletIbisNW Its a northern accent. She's from Manchester.

  • ''alrighty, lets get her on the phone '' LOL XD, geton niles

    doctor phychiatrist vs fatcamp therapist

    guess who wins ^^

  • niles should do the next extends commercial.

  • I love Niles! He's hilarious!

  • what episode is the dance with daphne from

  • @ravenhomicide2 moon dance

  • @ravenhomicide2 Moondance

  • id love to see a thick daphne!!

  • @marionblanco What? She's not that bright to begin with !

  • It's shows like this that set Frasier apart from other sitcoms

  • @dredericktotem1245 I totally understand both points of view. After all, he only overreacted because he was so afraid of losing her.

  • OMG! I LOVE this episode. Literally changed my life the first time I saw it. Being in love "at" someone was like a revelation to me...Tragic and heartbreaking but life-changing at the same time...

  • BAD BAD COOK!

  • It's this episode which confirms that PSYCHOLOGY IS A GREAT SCIENCE !!!!!

  • "I come here often." Oh I bet he does" *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*

  • One of the best episodes of Frasier.

  • "What the hell - the blood's just been flying through my arties lately."

  • Have you noticed how nearly every time Frasier says he'd like to toast someone/something, an argument begins, or something catastrophic happens?

  • This is one of the most insightful Frasier episodes.

  • I love that look on Nile's face at the cafe!bahahahahaha, priceless

  • What's the episode that Niles and Daphne dance in the flashback?

  • @ddd62291 Moon Dance

  • @lmo3111 Thank you

  • @ddd62291 Moon Dance, Season 3 Episode 13.

  • i love the relationship between martin and eddie

  • @2spoonsmaloy I know! He loves that dog more than life itself!

  • niles face in the end.... classic! haahaa

  • This may look ordinary in 2011 but for 2001 having them walking around on ACTUAL past footage with Niles walking behind and in front so seamlessly was nothing short of TV magic.

  • @daftrok and it looks much better than that modern CGI crap that is perpetuated these days.

  • "Bad, BAD COOK!" Wow Niles, not the best way to handle the situation.

  • *stunned silence*

"Nice call on the refrigerator pig."

LOL I love how this show always knows just how to break the tension!

  • Comment removed

  • Agree with @grownman455, however, I feel that Niles was very insensitive when he found out her problem. He may have been hurt, but it would have been better for them to work through that together, than to be petty.

  • @IHearYourSilence Look at it from his point of view. After so many years of waiting and yearning and pining for her he finally feels as though he's "made it". Only for his hopes/dreams to be shattered by Daphne's revelations. It's not easy to take that in all at once. He was snippety sure, but then he's not a saint. Specially after all the failed years he's had.

  • By the way, Jane Leeves is an amazing actress.

  • This episode is definitely interesting. Most of the time, shoddy excuses are made for actresses gaining weight due to real life pregnancy, but this makes sense. I know if I had a man like Niles loving (almost idolizing) me for so long, I'd feel the pressure.

  • Guys like Niles don't exist...

  • @kirikakirikakirika They most certainly do. It's just that women don't notice them (no, I'm not one of them - in case you're wondering if I'm bitter or anything).

  • @kirikakirikakirika they do exist but girls don't like them.

  • @kelsonjamie Damn fella/lady - do you realize we just posted EXACTLY the same thing at the SAME TIME? FREAKY ☺

  • @dredericktotem1245 Yes, that is rather a strange situation that we thought the same way. And I am a guy just to let you know.

  • So torn on how to feel about this exchange between Daphne and Niles. First Niles was sweet to wait for Daphne. However, HE has decided that now they are going to have sex, pushing her though she's not ready. I do think Daphne should have chose a different time, maybe suggested couples therapy. It's better coming from someone else sometimes. I understand Nile's pain, but if he couldn't keep his mouth shut he should have said he needs time alone, not have been so sarcastic.

  • @TheScaletIbisNW That's ridiculous. When they first got together Niles asked Daphne specifically whether she thought it was a good idea to wait before they got "physical". He's just spent the last decade (?) pining for her. I don't think it's unrealistic to assume that he would plan a "romantic getaway" for them both as a reunion. Even then when she said she needed time, he agreed without hesitation. He's human too.

  • I love this episode - whenever i tell my partner what i dont like about him - i freak out that he will get upset and leave me. And he thinks i want him to change. But I dont - i am merely pointing out that there are some things about him i dont like when it is relevant. I like that this show tries to highlight that couples can be hugely different but it still works :)

  • It's hard not to notice faults. I like to focus on things that made me love the person and realize usually the things I that find wrong with my mate has more to do with myself than it does with my mate. Daphne just has deep insecurities that stem from her horrible mother putting her down for years which gives her low self esteem and causes her not to accept complements and to be very critical of others. So Niles was not really the issue it's Daphnes baggage she carries around with her. haha

  • "you really don't get Eddie, do you?"

  • Those balloons in the backseat are dangerous

  • Every now and then during Roz's dialogue you can hear Peri Gilpin's Texas accent sneak in. Like when she's on the phone and she says "What, you never told me That."

  • I love the episodes when Frasier and Niles really explore psychiatric reasons for what happens around them. And Frasier's love for his little brother is so sweet.

  • I would do Roz anyday

  • Martin's arm flap at 17:29 is adorable.

  • Thanks for posting this... I was reading about how Frasier and Niles traveled back in time and I wanted to see how that looked. It was great!

  • @jscott1000 - huh ? travelling back in time ? please explain ....

  • Awww..it's so cute how he still smells her hair! 18:20

  • You never gave opera a chance! LOL :D

  • The Hell?!?! Did Daphne do lipo or something?!?! Jeez

  • @fat23will no, jane was pregnant , and returned after the birth

  • Jane Leeves lost all of her baby weight FAST! Those episodes of her getting big....she was pregnant...

  • @EWil313 Yes she was pregnant but she was also wearing a fat suit for the storyline.

  • @EWil313 remember too that by the time the 'hungry heart' episode aired, Jane was already probably on maternity leave

  • Lol there first time was bad, I wonder if Daphne was disappointed after...

  • "God bless you, son."

  • My name is Scott, and I'm 23 years old. I'm so glad everyone cares about this fact

  • Man, Niles and Daphne's first time must have been really good because Niles couldn't keep the satisfied look off his face. We do find out later in Crock Tales just how good it really was. LOL.

  • @ddjmfan He finally got the ultimate prize. I can really relate to this episode, I know how it feels to finally get someone after years of worshiping them.

  • Wtf.. why does Niles have a bust of male genitalia in his office??

  • @Ndstars1 You are very observant. I had never seen that before. I believe that is there to kind of give a subtle hint about DHP's sexual orientation in real life or it could just be there because it's a sculpture. Niles and Frasier are both art buffs, but you can pretty much draw your own conclusions.

  • @ddjmfan Sometimes a vork of art is chust a vork of art. :-).

  • Comment removed

  • @uranian99 That too. I choose to believe it's just there because Niles is an art lover.

  • Look at his little face! xD

  • I love Niles and Daphne's fight at the end so much :D And then "It wasn't anything like I imagined it." Most adorable thing ever.

  • when fraiser says all you saw was a woman in a red dress meaning that he still was hooked on the fantasy about her??

  • @1mnmfan Yes, but wouldn't she have gotten angry at Niles for stating her flaws. Don't women want you to see them as perfect now matter what? How is Niles the bad guy here? He still loved Daphne after she gained the weight. Most guy would have said something about it, This includes me.

  • @kelsonjamie Yes, this is what the MEEEEDIA tells you! And YESSSS some women have fashioned themselves after what those f****ing magazines, movies, etc. tell them "what man want, " as do many men (except the idea is that they will attain a woman). Open your eyes, dude. Try comprehending the world around you. There are a whole h*** lot of rational women in the world-- we're just not as "shiny".

  • @QUARKyNERD (continued from "just not as 'shiny'"), in general.

  • Wasn't Daphne bragging to Rose about what a fantastic lover Neils was at the early stages of their relationships?

  • @bebenut123 nah thats in a flashback episode in season 11, that takes place the day shown at the end here

  • 21:25 looks like niles and daph burned off a lot of energy...he should have two cups of coffee

  • When they're in the car at 3:45, Niles looks like a cadaver.

  • "The Nancy Boys?"

  • This episode irritates the crap out of me! Daphne is with a man that loves her unconditionally, gave his heart to her on sight, never changed in his passion and affection for her after she gained 60 pounds and HE IS THE BAD GUY?! What the F?

  • @cherimurr well niles has to be more understanding and see daphne for who she really is and not being hooked on the image or fantasy of her!

  • @cherimurr He wasn't "the bad guy", it's just that knowing about him being in love with her for so long is the reason she got so nervous about not living up to his ideals that she ate. She never said it was his fault or that he did anything wrong. Niles just took offense at it, knowing that it was probably true and not wanting it to be. She could've been more tactful, but then again, tact's never been one of Daphne's strong points. Frasier just explained her feelings better than she could.

  • @cherimurr Niles did more than love Daphne, he was obsessed, there is a big difference. When you love someone you see their flaws but love them anyway.

  • This is such an interesting episode for me because I (like most viewers, I think) was ALWAYS on Niles' side throughout the series, so it's interesting to have his flaws pointed out and to see Daphne's side of the relationship.

  • Eddie would never do that! you really dont get Eddie do ya?? ahaaaaa!

  • This is one of my favourite episodes -

    "Bad, bad cook!"

    "God bless you son!"

And God bless Jos too. Truly, you are the greatest person on YouTube.

  • oooh how I love it to watch frasier ...

you must be an angel or something like that 0.0

thank you sooooo much for uploading

  • Thank you so much uploader! Best comedy ever made.
