@Beer1584 During the time while Walt was alive, Mickey was already a bland everyman(Post-Fantasia), it wasn't until Runaway Brain and the Mickey Mouse works did we see anything eventful from the mouse. Nowadays, Mickey is at least getting more screentime with new video games and his upcoming animated movie by animated veteran Burny Mattinson.

Though, I wouldn't know about Disneyland, I've never been to a Disney park.

Go get Race to Death Valley, thats a great Mickey comic book for your taste.

The grand majority of new disney cartoons are below-average, repetitive childish and tasteless nonsense. This one has a few good parts (and bad ones) only because the music is so good and full of emotion that somehow, even under the pressure of mass production the disney staff could get something out of it.
