  • whats the point in having a power band that small? nothing for about 7k rpms then full bost by 8 and change gear at 9, typical dyno queen cars.... all head line figures and no substance....

  • redline when the engines cold. sounds like a smart move

  • Why the are people showing so much hate? Ohh yeah because there cars are gay and slow and don't know how to appreciate all they know is how to talk shit and be gayer than bruno.. while driving a Geo... Haha nice video!!!

  • impressive, but why?

  • thats how you make money from stupid people, put a half nake chick on your ad so they will spend their half month salary buying a stupid parts make some noise, all they do is wasted money doing nothing but full throttle on the strate line, maybe they should modify their driving skill before mod anything....

  • Turbo on a Type-R Honda engine?!? How to RUIN an engine. How much road before road assistance is needed?!? 100, 150 km.?!?

  • @Virtuoso23 just so you know they (f20c engine) can make over 500whp for a long time problem free on stock internals. Its not just speculation or what i think - its fact as theres plenty around. They're awesome engines, just because a bunch of people put too much boost into their d series doesnt mean hondas are crap

  • @saintluke87 Who said Honda are crap? I have two of them, and are great cars, I also wrote to Honda try to work for them as a car mechanic.

But i HATE tuned cars, and I HATE with all the forces cars who have 3 times the power of the stock version. I bet a 700 HP S 2000 is totally unreliable, as well as I bet that a stock S 2000 can run 200.000 miles if regularly serviced.

  • @Virtuoso23 sure if you want 200,000 miles from your engine you have different priorities than someone who wants 500whp. There are 500whp stock long block f20c's that have lasted a couple of years and are still running fine tho - not quite 100 or 150km

  • @Virtuoso23

It's not that they AREN'T reliable, it's the people that are fixing the cars up don't know WTF they are doing and do it wrong; mainly just causing damage to them and pushing the car way over it's limits and abusing it without properly swapping out the parts you need to most.

  • I think i saw an "M" lmfao

  • too bad this is in KM/H. Look at what is says beside the speed. you can change the settings in a s2000 to mph to km/h with 1 button. good try.

  • @mxpimp159 One of the las fucking country that uses mph is america so switch to metric and gtfo

  • @CdnArms No thanks. Screw the metric system. Don't like it, don't come here.

  • too bad this is in KM/H... this dude things no one can tell but look at what is says beside the speed.

  • 180 .. :D

  • 700+ and you only took it to about 112mph?

  • @hatejapanesecars in 4th.... you could have 1000hp and a shitty gear ratio and only get 100mph.

  • @ChingMan09 Loool, that'd be fun I'm sure.

  • @hatejapanesecars dude... he is on a dyno. did you think before you posted that?

  • so noisy..

  • And when should you chip an ECU?

  • @Genamel18

    when your engine blows

  • What is the HP range when you should start using a standalone ECU?

  • @Genamel18 ANY

  • wow 110 then 170 lol

  • tabarnak sa avance ca !

  • To answer your question about the engine being cold. My turbo s2000 has a stand alone aem ecu which doesn't display the correct temp on cluster. Like myself I have another gauge showing me my temp. I'm sure he was warmed up

  • i got questions: firstly, changing the exhaust of a Honda S2000 (or any year to) a uumm "muffler" just makes the car louder or must i also change the engine... secondly is it possible to change Honda S2000's doors to the one's that open going up... instead of to the side...? please respond my inbox or someway and i hear from people that by changing the exhaust to a muffler it takes up extra gas for the DB sound

  • @TrainedIndian I hope you're not serious, mate. I mean, what the fuck kinda question is that? You don't deserve an S2K...

  • @iCrunchyNutt "i hope you're not serious mate" dude shut the fuck up if you not going to answer it...... jesus you fucking cracker..... get a better attitude

  • @TrainedIndian Do some research. You'd be surprised by how much you can learn from forums and google. Once you've done said research you can then decide what's best for you. There are so many variations of power, torque and "gas mileage" gains. Too many considering you've not told us your chosen application, be it racing, drifting or just daily driving. I think I've explained my point, but if you can afford an S2K; you can buy a whole exhaust system and not just a "muffler".

  • @TrainedIndian BWAHAHAHA

  • @TrainedIndian lol, just google "how to be a ricer" and you'll get EXACTLY what you're looking for

  • @TrainedIndian

You are a moron. You are a embarrassment to all of us, s2k owners, and to the entire s2k community.

Go buy a Corolla or Sentra or something.

Also, racist comments just go and show how weak -minded you are. Its just sad that you have to resort to that sort of thing.

  • @japgamer00x you are so sad...just talking shit over a computer...whatever.....i'm out of the convo.... you replying to shit like 1 year old when i've got my answer like on the next day

  • @TrainedIndian You don't make any sense. I'm done wasting my time...

  • el tablero que trai el s2000 esta chingon de a madres

  • 700hp? Why do Honda owners need to bs so much?

  • Why the hell would you bring any engine to red-line when it's cold? Don't tell me you generate more horsepower when the engine is cold, it's the cold air that helps out engines not them being cold. Dumbass! I hope your shit brakes.

  • 700hp with 140fl lbs of torque.

  • @squirrely911 lol! I'm sure it's 400+, but I like your comment anyways.

  • wfk92 your an idot vtec has NOTHING to do with oil temp its oil pressure that opens up a solonoid causing it to engage the third lobe on the cam and open up the valves farther and for a longer period of time nothing to do with oil temp its going to be hot weather its cold or hot out side its right below thousands apon thousands of tiny explosions for hours each day

  • @patgrm i have to correct you, vtec does work on oil pressure, but when its cold ecu will not turn on the vtec solonoid, tell it reaches the right operating temp

  • wat u guys think the mpg is on it?

  • well considering my 400hp integra still gets 29 mpg id probably say around 26mpg ... when your just driving around your gas mileage does really change unless you had a retard tune your car.

  • meme a la on voit bien que ces des gros jambon pour tester un char a froid ... rien de pire pour avoir les mauvais chiffres et le tuner pour rien et de le briser !

  • cold engine = no vtec

  • @thewog29 i bet you he's running aem ems with out the engine temp fix kit

  • aww man cold engine are you serious??? not cool man not cool at all

  • actually it is cool :D

  • wtf the engine is cold!!dont do that!!!lol

  • If the engine was cold, VTEC will not activate ;)

If the Oil temperature reaches 60°C, VTEC is activated ;)

  • oh yeah i forgot,i just saw one bar and freaked out hahaha.i let mine fully warm up 3 bars though.

  • A normal engine is warm after 15km.

In winter you can add 5km ^^

  • 20 km in winter? you're joking?

  • @Cdek654

No, the Engine in the S2000 is not big, it is warmed up fast, cars with bigger engines sometimes need more then 20km to warm up the oil to 80-90°C.

  • @WFK92 I have a 1.6L and it doesn't take nearly as close as 20km o.O neither does my 2.0L, even when it's -40 outside

  • @Cdek654

You don't have to look at the water temperature, look at the oil temp ;)

And if you don't have a oil temp gauge, then you can calculate around 15km =)

  • @WFK92 exactly what I do :p (oil temp)

  • @Cdek654

Lol, which car you drive? ^^

Smaller engines are heated up faster, than bigger ^^

  • @WFK92 an old honda, like I said, it's a 1.6L, and my other is a 2.5L (typed 2.0 in last message it was a typo) altima, they arent 7.2L V10 (F250? not too sure anymore, I had one but it was quite a while ago) engines, but they sure as hell don't take 15kms, Like i said, when it's -40 the car gets heaten up in less than 5kms so yes, i'd say 15-20 is quite a lot. (none of the 3 i named were taking anything close to 15km)

  • @Cdek654 let me guess both sohc lol

  • @speedfuzion honda is, idk about the altima, but i've had dohc cars and it was just the same..

  • @WFK92 not true, and i jsut went out and checked on my s2k

  • @WFK92 S2ks Can crack vtec from a cold start u need to learn

  • @WFK92 unless he has fully programmable EMS like me :), but then you have to wait for the car to warm up or you could cause damage to the head...metal on metal no good.

  • @WFK92 vtec should be removed anyways....

  • @Crazybenjiwoo so should the 4.6 in all mustangs cuz once my v tec in my type r hits big bad 4.6 has a hard time hanging

  • @womblesmurf they did.............now its a 5.0 id like to see your fuckin honda keep up with that!!!!!! lol jk i love s2000 and stangs all the same v tec screamin vs v eight roarin!

  • @H1shman respect to you for not being a douche on youtube

  • @JSFER2 Its a rare thing

  • @CVRealMan agreed

  • Comment removed

  • @WFK92 He is probably tuning with an AEM EMS. The aem doesnt send the correct voltage to the dash so it doesnt work unless you get the Modifry temp guage fix.

  • @WFK92 VTEC is so fucking sickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • C'est quoi ce banc de merde, l'inertie du poid est beaucoup trop faible pour avoir une mesure précise !! Enfin le banc est pas vraiment adapté a la puissance du s2k...

  • something tells me that this is in kph... not in mph ???? anyone else agree to this ?

  • @tenjinnim Yeah it's km/h

  • So he does like 20mph- 120mph in like 5 seconds. Why is this only making 350? May not be 700 but its more than 350.

  • Definitely NOT 700hp....Maybe if you had a 2jz but, you don't

  • Dumb, 700HP with around 250ft/lbs torque

  • lol learn what your talking about before you say something like that retard, you obviously dont have the brain power to understand this car. Plus your watching the vid.

  • thats about what a F1 car runs (hp/tq).

Not a lot of info from this vid. If it peaks at 700hp then it would be around redline and anything bellow that, hp would drop off in an S2000. Imagine 200hp at 3500 and 700 at 8700rpm. The S2000 was made to have the revs high.

  • You look way into things. The comment was a reply to numbers someone posted. It good to know you had something constructive to add. Also, I've owned a stock S2000 for almost 5 years now.... If thats rice, the please pass the soy.

  • @kingssuck06 What the hell do you drive then?

  • A huffy bike most likely.

  • and only a true ignorant would make this statement.

  • lol i didnt know you needed 700hp to go 180 KM/H

  • obviously they aren't at top gear, and you don't need to push it to 9000rpm in 6th gear to get a hp reading from a dyno.

  • was that car like in a movie and that green stuff is part of the green screen?

  • not a 2jz, not 700hp

  • where does it say 2jz

  • haha i was looking at all these videos with s2000 that had a 2jz swapp. i miss-clicked on this one and didnt read the title before i watched and commented on it ha. but still this isnt 700hp. 350 at most

  • hahaha 700 my ass lol

  • he would be lucky if thats even 350 HP

  • lol... 700hp would not be fun to drive... on the daily

  • oh 700hp bullshit!!!!! that means i need to put a muffler on my mustang gt and it will have over 1000hp i guess... lololololol

  • WOW. first of all yes not 700hp. and second you just quoted a mustang gt. which a stock s2000 makes look like a ford festiva. fuckin noob.

  • 700hp my ass.

  • you hit vtec with just 2 bars on your thermo?

  • If he has an EMS (which he must to run that) then the stock oil temp gauges don't mean anything anyway. I thought the same thing when I went for a ride in my friends supercharged s2000.

  • probably disconnected for an external sensor

  • if you watched closely he was obviously in fourth for that pull. watch the rpm's...

  • sounds like a dyno to me

  • Thanks captain obvious...

  • Read the previous comments before you try and sound like a bad ass..... fail

  • and BigHondaHead could ALSO be right, KPH lol

  • um, mr. boostontap..........don't want to step on your bubble either, but surging can be done while sitting still, 2step, antilag, there are several ways to build boost etc. while sitting still, retarded timing, etc.......... so, um, yeah, it was on jackstands, (AND REMEMBER, S2000 is heavier than 2000) but its NOT physically possible to make a car that weighs about 2000 pounds........you must NOT understand the laws of physics my friend. Jack stands for sure.

  • If I understand you correctly then you say that it is impossible to have a car that weighs about 2000 pounds. The Lotus Elise weighs 1984 pounds, and if you want a car that is even lighter, just look at the Ariel Atom which weighs 1400 pounds. Both are road-legal. But if you haven't actually said that it is impossible to build a car under 2000 pounds then these are just some cool facts.

  • if its not poassiable to make a car weigh about 2000 lbs then how come my CRX weighs 1884 lbs empty and 2130 with a full tank of gas and my fat ass in it?

  • Is yours an Si??

  • Hey kid, go watch pokemon's. More than 99% Civic's CRXs, Del-sol's,, all over the world are not heavier than 2000pounds. The lightest CRX is from GAS Motorsport which have 1600 pounds with driver and fuel, and have near 900whp on 2.5-2.7 bars (K20A forged parts)

  • youcan hear the dyno run down and see the car surge when it comes off boost, careful you might end up looking like a fool !!!!!

    YUP YUP SAME HERE!!

  • aaaahhhhhhhh, no

  • wtf i only heard lik maybe one gear change this is fake, on fucking jack stands for all we know

  • It was not a dyno, the engine never had a load on it. If it was a dyno they did not put any load on it. This video is lame.

  • On jack stands or a dyno, it still acclerates dumb quick.

  • I hate to burst yalls bubble but the car was sitting on Jack Stands, That is why it climb that fast. The wheels were off the ground with no resistances. A stock civic can spin up that fast if you put it on jack stands also

  • ur a dick u can hear the dyno run down and see the car surge when it comes off boost, careful you might end up looking like a fool !!!!!

  • Try dyno.

  • cold engine ...

  • An F20C in a warm-up sounds very different.

  • wow 50km/h to 180km/h in 3 ish seconds is insane. thats like 30mph to 120 mph in 3ish seconds. wish my s2k was that fast but then again it wouldnt be very fun on a track. you would never be able to control that thing on a tight cornered scca track.

  • That video was done on a dyno obviously. Since the amount of load on the engine is not the same as when on the street the car will rev like that. Even more so when your pushing 700 freaking hp. Jesus what a beast!

  • it's an s2k cluster

  • what cluster is that?

  • you ding dongs do realize its in km/h right? 180km/h is the equivalent to 120mph

  • And you know that Japanese cars are limited to 180km/h, don't you?

  • And you know that you are a dumbass, don't you?

  • lol i think its only 112 mph not 120 i could be wrong

  • hahhaa not 700 hp

    more like 400

  • 400 hp would not pull from 40 mph at 2k rpms to 180 that fast; the turbo barely had any spool time at all!

  • lol its in kph not mph

  • cant you see that is in kph not mph

  • You have to admit the car is fast as fuck either way thats still like an 80mph climb

  • KPH

  • are you nuts?? 700hp is enough for "2jz or rb26 engines...f20 or 22 can endure 400hp for still normal driving...

  • actually i know of a guy 700hp on a stock f20 daily driven, search s2000 from hell

  • stock internals? omy god...i know one,guy from Japan drive the s2000 full moded to 500+hp and have no problems....hehehehe Honda is Honda...but turbo...hm...much power for a little banger...

  • 700hp? must be the swap that you done right?a D15 from a crx

  • yeah. D15B7 actually. haha. FTL.

  • False, d16z6 ftmfw!

  • I think temp gauge got fucked up and the cluster

  • if he's running an AEM ECU instead of Hondata KPRO his temp gauge wont be correct.

  • this idiot has has 700 dreams ...lol

  • did you just stutter? anyways this car is far better than anything you might be driving, or riding for that matter

  • i drive a red 05 s2000 yoiu idiot all im saying is no way in hell that thing has got 700 horsepower.

  • lies and deception...

  • suck my liuhiuhi dick bitch lkhlgkjhgg

  • something's wrong with the temp gauge...coz my s2000 with it being that cold the V-tec cuts off at 6000rpm

  • GO Vtec CANNON!

vroooomboooooooooomdingdoongbingbinnnnng "drones" bang bang pop bang

  • that's there to save your engine, you don't want to rev high with a cold motor, you'll blow it.

the temp gauge on this car is prolly worthless, and they just didn't wanna remove it completely, i'm sure the engine is warm, especially on a dyno.

  • yeah ive done it once but never again...coz i was in a rush knew it wasnt good though...yeah this would have to be warm by the sound of it...

  • being turbo and most likely running an AEM ECU, the temp gauge will not be correct. If he used Hondata KPRO, the temp can be coordinated to work properly

  • rear tires where on jack stands... duh... obviously any s2000 with 700hOrSy POWAZZ would get into the top magazines in a hurry.

  • you can hear the rollers in the background near the end of the video.... its on a dyno. I dont believe 700hp though... they would have thrown the numbers up if it was true.

  • the motor isn't even warmed up in this video. whats up with that?

  • have to use different oil when turbocharging at such high PSI. Sometimes takes 25 minutes to warm up.

  • yeah, but shouldn't he wait until its warmed up before he runs the car hard? i have an s2000 and you're supposed to wait until you have 3 bars on the temperature gauge....he only has one, indicating the car is still not warmed up.

  • yeah definitely gotta wait til it's warmed up before running it that hard!

  • uhhh no

  • It's because this guy is a dumb ass! Poor motor...damn...

  • no dumb asses with an AEM EMS the temp sensor no longer works unless you get a modifry fix box. I am sure it is warmed up just fine.

  • no need to call me a dumbass - how could i have known he was using the AEM

  • Agreed! and do the guy who said using different oil? The temp gauge runs off coolant temp not oil temp. This car has to have ems with no modifry!

  • its in kmh also

  • is the coolant temp gauge broken/not functioning or did he just do that on a cold motor?

  • Great observation.

  • yeah, first thing i spotted! not a fan of honda to be honest, but i dont like to see machinery in bad hands! poor motor :'(

  • The thermostat must be broken or not functioning correctly because my s or any s wont redline or rather go into vtec on a cold motor. It cuts off at 6 grand.

  • The S2k with a turbo is INSANE.

  • BULLL FUCKEN SHIT ON THE #s

  • Lol, its kilometers jackass

  • hahaha more like 300hp...

  • yup latinos/mexicans r true ricers

  • not exactly look Im Cuban and I have an Turbo SC400 no big wing no shiny stickers
